(Or maybe I should say "Oh Bother"!)
Hi All!
DH and I went to DL last night to check out Pooh! Sooooooo disappointing. It was very short. The rooms are bigger than at WDW, so you feel like you are riding past the scenes, rather than being a part of them. The movement of the cars is really weird. They start "gyrating" in the beginning and continue to do so throughout the ride. They don't "float" or "bounce" like WDW. It's just sort of odd. The story feels really disjointed and there seems to be a lot of dead space. For example, when you enter and exit the ride, your car goes through about 4 doors. And, dreaming Pooh floats through a really long black corridor before the beginning of the dream sequence, which seems empty, lifeless and unfinished. Hey, at least the line was only 15 minutes!!! Oh, and the Hunny pot cars are adorable!!!
Anyway, I'm not saying these things with any animosity and it is really rare for me to voice such a negative review about anything Disney. It's just that we were really kind of sad after waiting so long for this ride to open.
