I don't know where to post this. But after LOTS of love, luck and pixie dust, I had our "once in a lifetime" trip almost done.... And it was wonderful. Now, after last night, it is all one big question mark. We will know more after an appointment this week, but as of now, I won't make any more plans....

I do have a question tho .... We bought our tix for MNSSHP and they were delivered. Are they refundable at all? Or can I sell them for what I paid for them? Right now, everything except our lodging cost of $178 and MAYBE those tickets can be refunded.

I'm just sick about it, but more worried --- WDW will always be there, right?? And if it's meant to be, we WILL get there!
Thankfully, DD didn't know for SURE that we were going, so if we DO end up having to cancel, at least she won't be completely devastated.

Thanks for all your help in helping me plan this ...

i hope its not bad news your expecting(health wise):sad1: ill pray for you this week.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I am concerned about the appointment you mentioned. Whatever it is, it sounds like it's very important and I hope all will be well.

I hope you are okay and will continue to be okay and nothing goes wrong with the appointment.

I hope everything goes well for you. Although the tickets state they are non-refundable, you might call Disney ticket services and explain your situation in the event you need to cancel or postpone. The number is (407) 939-1289.

Sending lots of good thoughts and prayers your way that everything will be ok. Please keep us posted!:grouphug:

I've read that under extraordinary circumstances, WDW has refunded (or bought back) MNSSHP tix. Having said that, I hope all is well with you and your trip goes as planned.:wizard:

Prayers and pixie dust sent your way!pixiedust:

I hope everything is fine and you get to go on your trip. I'll keep you in my prayers.. :wizard:

My aunt got her MVMCP money back after my uncle died and she (obviously) cancelled the trip. They will make allowances under special circumstances.

I hope everything works out and am sending lots of :tinker: pixie dust and prayers your way! Please call Disney and explain. I've had luck with refunds before, not with party tix but with a non refundable deposit to the UK site so I know it can be done.

Please take care of yourselves and honey don't worry, WDW will always wait for you, and when it's right you will get there and believe me, it's everything you've ever dreamed ::yes:: !
I promise!

Sending thoughts, pixie dust, prayers and lots of love your way this week. Hopefully everything will work out. Keep us posted!

This was a while back but I had to cancel a trip once had to have gall bladder surgery. I also had MNSSHP tickets and they refunded them for me. I hope everthing works out for you and your family.

sounds like it might be serious......well wishes to you.
I would call and explain the situation, hopefully they will give you a refund.

not sure what is wrong but hope it all works out ok. Yes Disney will always be there and we'll all be praying to see you all there fit and wellin the near future.:tinker: pixiedust:

A friend of mine had to do this. She said you can move your reservation date to another date and not be charged a fee. So, if you know of another time you can go you can try to move the date.

Prayers for you and your family. I hope it isn't anything serious.

Can't help you on the MNSSHP, but just wanted to say I'm hoping that this time next week, you can be planning your WDW happily again. I know the feeling all to well. Just last friday I got some news that means my trip in september probably will have to be cancelled or postponed (not really an option in my schedule, but am so wanting to go). I'm also having to wait for at least this week (and if that's good news, even untill the last day before flying to be certain) to get an answer about being able to go or not. It's a real cr*ppy feeling and situation and I hope that it'll turn out fine after all for you. :wizard:

The same thing happened to us last year. We had tix for MNSSHP, and I wound up in the hospital two days before we were supposed to leave. I called Disney from the hospital, and explained everything. They asked what they could do to help, and they moved my trip up a week (I was very lucky that I was able to go), and they moved my MNSSHP tickets up a week, too. No additional charges. I think they offered to refund them as well, but I don't really remember.

From my experience at that point, I can say that the Disney company tries to do everything it can to keep the magic alive for people, no matter what the cost---I don't think they would ever risk alienating people unless it was an obviously trivial matter.

I sincerely hope everything is alright for you and my thoughts are with you.
