My husband has decided he doesn't want to go to Disneyland for our vaca next year! *sobs* He'd rather go to Sea World/ San Diego Zoo.
And my three year old daughter, the little traitor, said she'd rather go to Sea World as well "Because I've never seen it."

My heart, it is breaking.

Tell them you can do that but also wanna make a little detour up to Disneyland for a day or so, as that is something you wanna do. Just keep hinting.... Honey, you know its only a few hours out of our way. LOL!

I agree with Mystic_Path it's only a short drive...I talked my DH to take a short drive, we'll be in San Jose in October and at first he said NO to driving down to DLR, then he changed his mind when he realized how much I wanted to see DLR all decorated for Halloween...what's another 8 hour drive, when we will be driving from Canada already

Yes, that! Sea World is really not that exciting, especially after the San Diego Zoo.

When you go to Seaworld, be sure to make time for the little PetsRule! show. It's very cute and fun, and really made our trip.

I hear Amtrak does a nifty little service from San Diego (I think there's even a station right nearby SeaWorld) up to Disneyland, with the Anaheim station being only a couple/few miles from DL...cheapo, too. Little side trip!

Do the So. Cal Pass. That way everyone gets to do what they want.

It includes 3 days at DL (can upgrade to more if needed), 1 day at US, 1 day at Seaworld, and 1 day at either the SD Zoo or SD Wild Animal Park.
