I am leaving for Discon two weeks from today in the morning. There are three episodes left of The Sopranos. I AM GOING TO MISS THE LAST TWO EPISODES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What am I going to do?????

I don't have a VCR that will record off of the satellite!!

Oh the humanity.....

:D :D

Wish I could help Brian but, we don't get HBO. :(

Geez oh man, Brian. Don't do that!! I saw the "oh no" and the frowny face and thought the worst-that you had to bow out of DIS-CON!!!!!
That being said, we don't have HBO either. Wish I could help, but I'm sure someone can record thost episodes for you. ;)

I know that the Disney resorts do not get HBO, but does the Swolphin????? I've never stayed there, so I don't know.

Barb - sorry, didn't mean to give you a scare like that!!!!!!

yes, Dolphin gets HBO. That is why DH likes it better than the Disney resorts, which don't get it.:teeth:

I was going to offer to Tivo it.. and then copy it.. but now you will see it anyhow... thank goodness.. I know you Soprano's fans.. I have two daughters who are just like you..

I ran into this same situation on our trip back in May of 01, at that time it was the season finale of The West Wing. I am a major fan, never miss it! I thought of ways to work around our schedule to still watch it, asked people to tape it ect. Once in the world I truely forgot about it completely. I am sure someone will tape it or you will catch it guys. :)

We could re-enact a typical 'Sopranos' event during the fishing expedition to help you through the loss of the two episodes.

I'm thinking we could fit you with some cement shoes and drop you to the bottom of the lagoon. How's that for realistic???

Isn't there free HBO at the Disney hotels? Perhaps you can pack a VCR to tape them? :)

I don't think the Disney resorts have HBO, at least the last time we stayed at one it didn't. The Dolphin, however, does. :D

have it on TIVO and i can try to figure out how to dump it to tape for you if no one else can do it. I am supposed to beable to to this , thought i never have tried it.

Rachael.. omg.. neither have I ever done it.. if you figure it out.. let me know.. the Tivo thing that is.. Hugs..

Brian - if you would like I can tape it at home for you and mail it to you when I get home. I know my sis watches it all the time and she's a big fan of the show since it is taped in the area where we grew up - her hubby will probably tape it for her. Let me know if I can be of any help!

Brian, I'll be staying at the Dolphin. I'll bring my vcr and try to hook it up and tape it for you.

My WebTV acts like a TIVO using a VCR.

O r yo could run your Satellite Cable to your satellite box, then to yor VCR, then to your TV.

Your Satellite box should have a timer that you can set the days and times.

Also set your VCR to turn on at the same time to channel "3".

You can test it by turning on your TV then turning on your VCR like you are going to watch a VCR channel..

Lastly, you turn on your satellite box and you should see HBO come on.

This is the simplest way, but to get a better picture, you can use the three Audio/video cables going from your Satellite box to your VCR, and then to your TV.

For an even better picture, use an S-Video cable instead of the regula video cable.

Anyway, if you are in a one bed room BCV, you should have a VCR, and I could give it to you to watch after I tape it at WDW.

Ray :)
