Oh Reid, I'm sorry to hear about this. Thank goodness it happened now rather than while you were away.

I looked after my friend's younger brother's goldfish many many years ago and, evil teenager that I was, I threatened to eat it as a fish supper on the Friday. Couldn't believe it when I came downstairs on Saturday morning to find it floating upside down and no time to replace it before they came home, not that I would have been able to do it easily as it was huge. The younger brother is now 40 with 4 kids but never lets me forget ~ I am always introduced as the evil one who murdered his pet goldfish.
