I think I've got you beat. Yesterday I went to see a band called Type O Negative and they played It's A Small World FOREVER while the band set up! My husband thought it was a cruel joke. I thought it ironic b/c he's so not thrilled about Disney like me. I was really thinking about the people who get stuck on the ride...thank goodness my reward for sitting through that was an awesome concert and some nice eye candy in the form of Peter Steele! It is weird where that song ends up playing outside of WDW.

There is an ice cream truck that drives by my house several times a day. Normally it plays a fairly generic tune.

They've changed it to "It's a small world." I hear it several times in the afternoon and it won't get out of my head!

THANKS!! NOW I CAN'T GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD!!


We leave in 3 weeks and I KNOW I'll have this in my head until then!!

We got a new a ice-cream truck, that sells *real* ice-cream instead of the popsicle things. Last time the song was just a jumble of random songs, but I can't remember if IASW was one!

We have an ice cream truck that comes around once in a while....not right now....seeing as we just got 6 inches of snow...but in the summer. I wouldn't mind hearing, it would be like a little bit of Disney right here in my own home town.

If we could persuade the plow trucks to play music and sell icecream or even hot chocolate I think it would improve things 1000%!

I'd be thankful for that. Before we moved from Oak Lawn, the ice cream truck that came down our street used to play "La Cucaracha." As if anyone would buy ice cream from him . . .

No serously this little truck pretending to be an ice cream trucks sells corn on the cob with mayo and cheese on it. EWWWW!!!! The weirdest thing I've ever saw but man when he comes around my dh gets so excited. He loves this stuff!!

I'm jealous! Our ice cream truck plays "Turkey in the Straw" or "The Entertainer." No truck today, though. It was a blistering 37 degrees!

Yes! The ice cream truck in my old neighbrohood used to play Turkey in the Straw! It drove me nuts. It did cause a funny moment once, though. My parents were working in gardens on opposite sides of the house, and when they heard the ice cream truck coming, blaring out Turkey in the Straw, they both spontaneously got up and starting jigging around to the front of the house. Then when they saw each other they linked arms and jigged all over the yard. The ice cream man had to stop driving because he was laughing so hard.

You should try it! Seriously, it is yummy, especially if you sprinkle on some chili powder and squirt on some lime juice. I'd rather see a chili corn truck than an ice cream truck any day.
