Well, now the rooster is in Uncle Sam attire for the 4th of July. OMG, it is too funny.

Now that I know how versatile a huge lawn ornament like this could possibly be--first Easter now July 4th--, I am really kicking myself for not rushing out to get one when the urge hit me

When I lived in Denver, there was this house that had cement gargoyles at the entrance to their driveway. And yes, the owners dressed them up for every season/holiday in what appeared to be doll's clothes with all the accessories.

Can't imagine that I would spend the time or the money, but it was very interesting to drive down that street and see what the gargoyles were up to!!
