I don't know if anyone remembers the thread about the folks who dressed up their rooster statue for Easter. You can check out this thread if you don't:

Well, now the rooster is in Uncle Sam attire for the 4th of July. OMG, it is too funny.

I thought you were suppose to supply pictures with the revelations - lol

I don't know how to post pictures or I would. :teeth: Someone else had to do it for me last time.

We drove past it not too many days ago wondering if we'd see any 4th of July touches. No luck then. Will need to check it out again. :teeth:

Now that I know how versatile a huge lawn ornament like this could possibly be--first Easter now July 4th--, I am really kicking myself for not rushing out to get one when the urge hit me :lmao:
Oh, how I wish I had a giant rooster in my front yard so I could dress it up in "holiday gear"--please wish fairy get me my own rooster :wizard: :wizard: :teeth:
I really wish I lived close enough to see it!! popcorn:: :woohoo: popcorn::

When I lived in Denver, there was this house that had cement gargoyles at the entrance to their driveway. And yes, the owners dressed them up for every season/holiday in what appeared to be doll's clothes with all the accessories.

Can't imagine that I would spend the time or the money, but it was very interesting to drive down that street and see what the gargoyles were up to!!

I wanna see LOL we have a huge cow in town they do that with LOL

You have to go by just to check it out. My DBIL says he thinks it's much better than the Easter outfit. :lmao:

They still do it...on Belleview between Broadway and University, right? If Belleview wasn't such a busy street, I've always thought that it would be great to take pictures with each change and post them on a website.

Oh my gosh - yes! I love it when other people know my references!

That would be a good photo montage. Maybe midnight drive-bys? :teeth:
