Oh no, should I be worried?

I can't seem to find the recipts for my travelers checks that I bought for our trip. I have the checks themselves, but I have misplaced the slips. I have torn everyplace where I thought I might have put them apart and can't find them at all. My husband says they must be around, don't worry, we'll find them. But I can't help it!! I can't seem to remember at all where I put them. We are leaving in two weeks and I am trying to get so much stuff done and looking for them is really eating into my time, but I can't seem to get my mind off of it, ARGH!!!!

Chances are they won't be lost or stolen, so you'll be fine. If they were lost, the bank you bought them from has a copy of the receipt. I would photocopy the checks for my own peace of mind and to have a record of the numbers. I would also ask the bank for another copy of the page that lists the phone numbers to call if the checks are lost.
