OH NO!!!!!!!! Peter Pan will not be operating while we are at WDW.

I am so sad that is one of my favorites! On the Walt Disney World site that posts the monthly hours---they are reporting that Peter Pan will not be operating May 22-26.

Big Bummer!!!!!!!!

I can't belive it! its my DD's favourite, will have to rewrite my itinerary, we are there for two weeks so will have to avoid those dates for MK. :guilty:

I wonder why? It all looked great when we rode it last week. So sorry you will miss it!

You mean you are one of the one's that wait in the 90 minute line for the 2 1/2 minute ride?

That's one of my favorites. Will you be able to ride it on another day?

Who wouldn't? It's Peter Pan!!
*swoon*
I mean....uh.....well........er.....Hey look, a bird! *runs away*

OklaDISNEYMom, sorry Peter Pan will be closed during your visit. It is one of my favorite attractions, too.

does anyone else know about this, ( i don't doubt you okladisneymom) i need to read it and can't find it, only just finalised our itinerary for the final time, will need to chance it if PP closed.
really surprised thought all the rehabs had happened prior to the 50th celebrations starting :confused3
any help appreciated :earsgirl:

It opens back up on my birthday. Peter Pan was my dad's favorite ride so I make sure to ride it every trip in memory of my dad. One of my favorite photos of my dad was taken by a CM just as we were "taking off" on our ship.
I will ride it on my birthday and thank both my dad and mom for all that they did for me while they were with me and now when I pray to them.

I love Peter Pan, what a bummer! There's only one thing to do, you will now be forced to HAVE to stay at WDW for another week, till the ride opens up again!!

Yeah, some of us empty nesters wait for the 2 1/2 minute ride because it's the one that our DS really really loved, and so we go on it and think of him!!
So, we'll miss it on this trip, but it should be opened in August!
