Oh, no! No more December's!

I just put in a request for a job transfer at work and forgot something important about the job. They do not allow vacations in the month of December until after Christmas. This means no more holiday DVC trips! Whatever will I do? I guess we better get used to the crowds between Christmas and New Years!

Go right after New Year's - most of the holiday decorations are still up and the crowds are very minimal.

How about a Thanksgiving trip? The decorations are up early, and you can rest up for all that work in December.

I understand I can't go in Jan or feb, the first three week in April, July or Oct...

but works does pay for the DVC....

Oh - I so can feel your pain. We snuck a trip in January one year and I have wanted to go back in that time frame so many times, but the end of December thru about April is a nightmare at work and I can take off, but I pay so badly by getting far far behind.

I agree with the advice to go in early Jan or Thankgiving. We went last year at Thanksgiving and it really put me in the Christmas spirit early!
