OH GOSH. Wouldn't you know it... my first vacation has arrived. We're going to Cleveland for 4th of July weekend. That means, I'm going to have 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 2 dinners out of my element! :faint: What have you guys done to keep on track over vacations?! It's hard to eat out on Core...

I've started vacation tonight and am leaving for Disney on Sunday. I have it a little easier then you as we'll be in a condo and I'll have control over at least 2 of my meals each day. I'm going to do the best I can, make good choices and to be honest hope for the best.

Have you thought about switching to flex for that week, it might make your choices easier.

my last vacation, to Disney World, was only 2 days long. I ate whatever I wanted and gained very little. . . but then again, I was doing a lot of walking.

I agree with the above poster: The flex plan may be easier for you. (I'm a flexer myself.) You'll also no doubt be near a supermarket, where you can pick up items like fruit, cereal, WW snacks, etc. Stick to plain foods if you're out at restaurants--remember to exercise portion control--and just do your best.

I don’t do weight watchers or anything like that but I eat generally healthy. If you set your mind to it you can eat healthy anywhere you go. I was in Italy for 13 days and managed to eat pretty healthy.

The bigger question is why are you coming to Cleveland for 4th of July, did you loose a bet? :hyper:

If you would like some healthy/healthier restaurants in the area let me know. Just let me know where about you are staying (East side, West side, suburb) and I can try and get you some options.
