I should never browse travel web sites for fun and amusement last time I did it, we ended up at DL in October. We have been three times in 18 months and when we leave I tell myself we have ahd enough for at least a year. Here I am now looking at a quick trip April 25-28...........What will the parks be like that weekend? I like to go when there are low crowds.

I should add my family and friends think I am nuts when it comes to DL trips.....

I hope you have AP's!!! If not you need to get some because you are shelling out serious bucks for hoppers. We were there at the same time as you in October at HOJO, and if you book we will be there April 26-30 again at the same time!!!

It's a sign, you have to go now!

Hey whatever happened to that friend you were gonna go with and stay in her timeshare? Just wondering if that evr panned out!

LOL - you sound like me. I do the same thing!:rotfl:

We also went to DL in October (I think we were there the same time as you and your daughter), then DH and I just got back from our first trip to WDW (we got back on Thursday). Now I'm already trying to find the next "great Disney deal".:surfweb:

Yes, my family and friends think I'm sick...but...I KNOW I'M SICK!:rotfl2:

What can I say?...I've caught the Disney fever! :dance3:

I was working on my trip to Disneyland in April but now I am going to go to Hawaii in Feb. I am still going to work on the trip to Disneyland maybe I can get both

Crowds should be good, thats after most spring breaks but before summer. We went at that time a couple of years ago and it was great. We go as often as we possibly can, our record to Disneyland was six times in one year. Our family thinks we are nuts and we don't care! I might add we are very frugal in the rest of our life to allow us to travel like we do. I don't come down on my friends and family for how they spend their money and I remind them of that when the jokes about our Disney addiction start in! Go and have fun, your little girl is only young once and think of all the wonderful memories you will have!

I love you guys, you make me feel not so strange to be dreaming of DL.. Everyone else thinks I'm nuts.....

I haven't done an AP because I am always sure it will be more then a year before we go back, IF we go in April, I am getting AP's (why kid myself anymore,..,,,,)

We are going the same time - April 27, 28, 29. I picked that weekend based on low crowd expectations. And nice temps. I am sure spring break will be over and the local 2fer tickets expire Thurs, April 26. You should go, it is a perfect time!:yay:

That "Year of Disney" for our family was actually in 2004. And we also went to WDW once that year too. Unfortunately now that my son doesn't have year round schooling and now that my dh doesn't rack up as many ff miles we are down to three trips a year, two to WDW and one to DL. I feel very deprived ;) !

Oh you absolutely must, especially if you have that December timeshare trip already in your mind, you know you are gonna HAVE to go!!!

Oh no!! Now regular people might think being down to three trips a year is no big deal, but not here :rotfl: It is a great to have a lot of trips planned, you hardly have any time to wait till the next one after you get back!!

PS, my DD doesn't have year round schooling, no excuses lady!! ;) Although having to fly puts a kink into the plans, I know I wouldn't go nearly as often if we had to. Bummer about the FF miles, those come in handy!

Abbgy's mom: The AP discounts really do add up. Virtually 10% off every restaurant full and counter at DL/DCA and the resorts. Although having the AP's just increases the amount of trips you take since the tickets are already paid for! You also won't get EE privilidges unless you stay onsite with AP's. But they are so worth it!

And Matterhorn, the lack of ff miles is a bummer. I often ask him "don't you need to go on a business trip sometime?". When we had AP's, free plane tickets and the AP discounts on dining we coudl do a four day weekend kind of thing for dirt cheap. We stayed offsite at the Park Inn (Camelot now) in November of 04. The whole weekend was about $300. I miss those days!

Well I made a great big post before but then the site went goofy and I lost it. Basically I wanted to say that I am glad there are others out there like me and don't let ANYONE make you feel bad. Everyone has their things that are important. Some people are work a holics, some like to go to casinos every week WE like Disney LOL.

For me personally it makes me happy and makes all the other bad stuff in life seem bearable. If I am not ON a trip I love to be planning the next one and since I live relatively close and with AP's and hotel deals it is VERY inexpensive for us to go.

We don't go for the expensive meals, souveniers or what have you and just have a blast.

Since we bought our AP's this past summer we have been in June, November and December and are going in February, Oct and Dec THIS year.

Each for a very different reason but all for fun.

I will be renewing my AP's this summer but I can tell you in 08 we will most likely only go once but since my AP's renew in summer I have to renew them to get my oct and Dec trips covered.

SOOO I digress but no worries. WE love ya and we totally understand the "addiction" LOL ;)
