Oops!!! I think I'll just get back on the bandwagon rather than beat myself up. I will just accept it if I gain this week, and move on to the next week. It's amazing how much it helps to type this out.
I did that a couple of weeks ago too ... I just felt that I really, really had to have a hamburger and fries. I felt a little bad afterwards, so I went to the gym a couple of extra times and drank lots and lots of water...I actually had a small loss, so it wasn't as bad as I thought.
Good luck this week! Remember to drink lots of water, it makes a big difference
Good for you for not beating yourself up. This is life, and in life we have things we want. Make it work around your new lifestyle change. I plan to still have those things. Not just everyday.
Sometimes your body needs that jolt of extra calories/carbs to get it working again when you start being good again.
I made the mistake of guzzling part of a can of caffeine free coke yesterday. I thought it was diet, until the first good slug. I thought, "Boy, this is sweeter than usual..." Then, I read the can. YIKES! I probably ingested about 8g out of the 39g of carbs that were in the can. I have vowed to look better at the can before I open it.
Actually, it's the kids' fault. I buy CF Regular Coke for them. To think, I comingle theirs and mine in the same refrigerator behind my bar.
Good for you for not beating yourself up over it. You're headed in the right direction now, Elisabeth!! Besides, we all have times that our eating plan kinda of, sort of goes down the drain during a few careless moments.
