OH NO, have to cancel something...!

I would have to agree with srwarden about cancelling one of the DHS meals instead of Garden Grill at Epcot. ;)

Unless you are spending lots of time at DHS, just from a touring standpoint, I would cancel one of the DHS meals.

My DD is a huge Chip and Dale fan so we usually go to the GG. The food has been pretty decent for us, about the same quality as most character meals.

If you are not thrilled with the GG, you could always call and see if any other restaurants have availability.

:)

I would let Sci Fi go.

50s Prime Time is wonderful. It is a do not miss for our family.
Garden Grill is in Epcot. I would assume since you added a DHS meal you would logically replace a DHS meal with it. I have heard less than stellar comments about the food at Sci Fi and the menu just doesnt appeal to us that much.

This is exactly what I thought... I don't like the DHS restaurants all that much but I would most definitely drop Sci-Fi. It has such boring common food that isn't good.

With Garden Grill, you'll keep an Epcot and character spot, 50's PT it's a different experience and the food is delicious.

If I had to pick one to give up it would be Prime Time. We enjoyed our meal to some degree, but it wasn't really over the top or anything. The food was nothing bad or great either.. I did notice that the portions of pot roast we got was pretty small, and we really weren't impressed with our server~ he really didn't try to get in the setting at all~ I mean we weren't wanting a lot of ribbing from him, but since it was my dad's birthday trip maybe a little of the server in character. I would eat there again... if I had already exhausted all the other places I wanted to eat, but I wouldn't give up Sci Fi or Garden Grill to eat there. We ate at Sci Fi for lunch and loved their chili, burgers, and onion rings. YUMMY!!:cloud9: And the atmosphere is something you don't really get anywhere else. We also loved Garden Grill~ thought their food was really good and loved:lovestruc the character interaction with all of the characters.

I would dump Sci Fi. We also have a 2 year old and it just was not enjoyable. It is very dark inside and the only lights are small ones in your "car". I think my son was freaked out. He would drop something (his lovey) and we had a heck of a time trying to locate it in the dark. The movies that they play are very old and did not hold our kids attention at all. The food is just ok imo. Nothing special.
Garden Grill is great because of the characters. It is very low key as they come to you multiple times. The food is brought to you, so you won't miss any characters. It also doesn't have the crazy loud atmosphere of most character meals. My 2 year old loved it. Food was good. Kids liked it.
50's Prime Time is also good and is a very lively restaurant. Food is good, desserts are great.

Hope that helps! BTW I have been to each of these restaurants multiple times over the years.

I would honestly go with the logic that you picked up a DHS ADR so lose one. I've never been to either PT or Sci-FI, but with my personality I'd let PT go. I'd start an argument or something with a CM.

I like your idea PrincessTrisha, just don't know if I could stick to it.
Do what she suggested. Then if you pick one you really want to go to you'll know not to cancel that one. Repeat as needed. If you feel that way about all of them, pay out of pocket for one meal.

Don't cancel any...but since most people say to drop Sci Fi...just go there and get some onion rings and a milkshake or a light up glass for the kiddos and pay OOP :)
