Oh no- didn't plan for Monday after Super Bowl

We are going to WDW Jan. 31-Feb. 2. Planned for Monday, Feb. 2 to be our MK day. Have fastpasses etc. I JUST realized MK usually has the parade for the Super Bowl MVP that day. Will it make MK super crazy? Should we go to Epcot instead and go to MK on Super Bowl Sunday? I am afraid we will lose our 7DMT FP.

As an aside, when switching fastpasses, do you lose the old ones when you see what others are available?

It won't be crazy in MK. The Super Bowl MVP and a few characters travel down Main Street. Timing depends on when the MVP arrives. I would suggest you keep your FPs and keep your schedule intact.

Nope. UNLESS you make the final "click" to actually cancel the MK FP+.

The parade will be at Disneyland because the Super Bowl is out West this year. Checked with someone who works for Disney.

Thank you all- I feel so much better. None of the crowd calendar and touring sites mentioned the parade so I forgot all about it (and also wondered if they would do it at Disneyland since the Super Bowl is so far west this year). We'll keep to our plan. This trip has been planned for a long time (starting at Universal and then moving to Disney) but I have changed our hotel 3 times now, eventually booking onsite with a come back deal last weekend so it's been a little less planned out than I normally like.

It's also out first trip with fastpass+ so it's just different. Looking forward to 7DMT for the 1st time!

We were there the year new Orleans won and there was a ton of Saints fans, and MK felt crowded in the hub, but it really was not all bad..

If the MVP parade is usually at 2:00 will the 3:00 Fantasy parade be canceled? We have FP+ for the 3:00 parade.

I know some have said that the MVP will go to Disneyland but want to plan just in case.

A previous poster said the event will be at Disneyland. Even if it were at MK, it won't affect FOF.

Shame it'll be in DisneyLand, guess you won't get to see Russell Wilson, Richard Sherman, or whoever else from the Seahawks gets the mvp.

I was there last year for the parade and didn't find the MK any more crowded. Keep your plans. I will be there this year as well and will me bummed if it is in Disneyland, hope that is not true.

We were in MK last year for Super Bowl MVP day. If they hadn't made an announcement for it prior to the short "parade" they did, I wouldn't have even remembered he was there.

Other than a group of Seawhawk fans gathering in one area, it was just another 3 or 4 day at MK.

It's not really a full parade. It's some dancers and a car with the mvp and Mickey.

The MVP gets to WDW when they can fit it into their schedule that day, they di the parade down main street and then leave to get to wherever they are appearing next like Letterman or the tonight show. They are in WDW maybe 30 minutes.

For a few years it seemed like it was anytime in the beginning of the week but not always Monday so you never knew.

Last few years I think its only been Monday and now be part of the contract Disney has with the NFL.

Yea I was trying to find video of that parade to confirm since thats the last time it was near the West coast but I have to ask did he actually go or did he just say he was going?

I have heard they tape two after the SB spots for the different markets.

Years ago I used to post that the Parade is either at DLR or WDW and can be any time around the first week after the SB so hard to plan for it. Since then its always been at WDW on Monday. About the only thing that changes is the time.
