My little boy is growing up

Daniel has been invited to his girlfriend, Jess', house for tea on Sunday and we were discussing this morning what Daniel might get her for Valentine's Day. He has just brought £6 into the bedroom from his money box and said it was for Jess' Valentine card and pressie. When I told him he didn't have to pay for it, he said 'Jess is my girlfriend and my responsibility so I'm paying'

I know it sounds daft but I'm sure that somehow that might be living proof that at least one of my children is growing up with some values

These are the sort of things that you should make a note of for future reference.
My one big regret is that I never made a list of all the funny/cute/off the wall comments that my 2 kids made as they were (still are) growing up as I can't remember a fraction of them now
