What a morning. I awoke to a soaking wet bedroom floor.
Turns out a pipe in our main bathroom shower burst, and the piping is backed up one of our bedroom walls.
A lot of my Disney collectibles were ruined
. Unfortunately many of them our in our bedroom now (well, I DID have to make room for Trevor now didn't I?
)
On another note--I found that I collect a bit more that I originally though (okay, go ahead and say it--I know you are thinking it--PACKRAT!)
I had to redo a "memory board" that I have. Basically it is like a scrapbook, but done on a framed corkboard so that I can hang it on the wall. In going through one of them, and tossing the stuff that was ruined, I concluded that I collect:
a) dust
b) more dust
c) Disney Buttons
d) Old Park Tickets
e) Room Keys
f) more dust
g) those little restaurant cards that are the size of matchbooks
h) matchbooks (yes, they used to have them at the resorts)
i) commemorative edition tickets (to parks, movies, etc.)
j) cast member fact sheets
k) keychains
l) postcards
m) those cute picture cards they give you that have your "ride" picture number on them
n) park maps
o) check in literature
p) check out statements
q) so much more that I think my DH is about to kill me!!
How can one person have so much stuff????? (this is in addition to the snowglobes, posters, cross-stitch, artwork, watches, pins, etc.....)
Okay, I think I officially need that 12 step program....
My name is Sue Ellen, and I am a Disney addict
