Oh my. What have I done?

Yesterday, UPS delivered the new Disney vacation countdown blocks I ordered on Etsy. (Love it!)



But what have I done!?

We have our stereo connected to speakers throughout the house. This morning, before my alarm even went off, the whole house started shaking with Disney music. When I got dressed and went downstairs, I was informed that there will be a daily "changing of the count" ceremony. I had to put my mouse ears on and change the "71" to "70."



Ummmm, if you're wondering... no. No, we do not have any kids in the house.

My first thougth was "wow that seems over the top" and then I realized that my family does the same kind of daily countdown ritual once we set a Disney Date! We just are lacking the needed tools & props!

DH and I have a step down into the laundry room. If he catches me coming up..it becomes the Disney Bus Practice Step...in fact if he catches me on any stairs it is the Disney Bus Step Practice Field. We all have our little "things"...and yes Boo to You is always awesome!!

Have a great trip we are headed there at about the same time. Going to MNSSHP 10/28 this year. No kids either

There are other similar ones but I like those best. $26 with shipping. Maybe less if you are an Etsy 'veteran' and there are discount available. I'd never used it. 6 more days of ROFR!

We do a monthly (when a year away), a weekly (9-6 months away) and then daily (once we are less than 6 months away). We normally have more than 1 count down going on. Our youngest baby is 25 so I completely understand.

Oh my gosh! Does that mean you will have 'It's a small world' floating around in your head for 70 days BEFORE you even start the vacation?? You might want to get clearance from the medical profession first.
