Oh! My Peanut butter! (a 2013 PHM report)

Yeah, I can see your concern. Not sure what that works out to per point but one passed yesterday or the day before below your pp and I think with more current points (not a lot but more maybe?). Main thing is it is out of your hands now and what will be, will be.

Easier said than done I know!

I am actually finding myself a bit more laid back about the whole things than I thought I was going to be. I mean... I still have moments of "oh yea, it will pass" vs "oh no way will it" but over all I am pretty ok with those thoughts. Obviously ok if it passes, but also ok if it doesn't. I do think if it doesn't pass though we might be waiting a bit before we make a new offer since prices have gone up so much in the last month.

After we got our snacks, we made our way to see Finding Nemo the musical. This is among Steve's must do's. I do enjoy it, but he is the one who wanted to see it.

As we got to the theater, we realized we had a problem. ::yes:: our snacks! Steve went in ahead of us to get seats while we finished what we could.

As we went in and began to look for Steve, Zoe and I got separated. I had NO idea where she went. I know that she had not "wandered off" since she is not a wanderer. I stayed calm. I went to a cm to let them know I was looking for Zoe (gave them a description) I then continued to look for both Steve and Zoe. (Steve is not great with directions and had told me he was in one section...which is actually not where I would assume the section he described was) I found Steve thinking maybe Zoe had found him first, but nope. :worried: He was seated in the lower section just inside of the theater. So I went back up to the cm and she still had not seen Zoe. Well, Zoe being the smart girl she is knew to head back to the entrance and given that we were seated there... it was easy to spot her. As the crowds had packed in and we got separated, she had gone to where she too thought Steve meant he was sitting at. :rotfl: (the OTHER SIDE of the theater) He had said right side - few rows up. I assumed this was the far side and UP. Well it was from the point of view of the stage... not from entering the theater.

All together, we sat and waited for the show to start. As always it was a beautiful show.

After the show we had time for one last thing before we had to leave the park.

We had fast passes for EE and THIS time we were going to use them!!

From AK, we caught a bus to AKL. We had an early dinner ADR at Boma. It had worked well to eat there the night before the ToT race, so I hoped it would be a good choice again.

All in all, it was. Toward the end of the meal though, I found that something expanded in my tummy making me quite full. I believe there is a cracker that was to blame. I felt a bit... over inflated.

Course, Steve likes to say I just looked like "grumpy cat" :rotfl: (yes, I have to laugh at myself)

Zoe was so excited to get a special birthday dessert. It wasn't your usual cupcake either! Some sort of shortbread mickey filled with a chocolate filling. YUM!!!

After dinner we went back to CSR. Steve took Zoe out of the room so I could get myself ready. I had packed several options for the race. Here is was hours before I would be running and I still did not know what I was going to wear. Some of the shirts just didn't work since... well, 4 days of eating at disney had given me a bit of a food baby going on. :scared: Not an attractive look... and not wanting to make any race official worry that they had a pregnant woman running... I opted against most of the shirts I brought. Then I decided...

I laid everything out so that I could change quickly in the middle of the night. I packed my bag that I wanted Steve to bring for me since I was not checking a bag.

Meanwhile, Steve was sweet and got me a bagel and some peanut butter for the next morning. I really appreciated it! Even if it was not "my" peanut butter, which btw... is PERFECT. It is from planters and is the cinnamon raison granola nutrition peanut butter. As the name implies it has a hint of cinnamon in the peanut butter. There are lots of peanuts and raisons and yes, even some granola in it. Great energy food for a long run!.

With everything ready for the "morning" I did some things for work and was in bed by 9pm with my alarm set for 3am! :faint:

Next Up: 2/24 - Day 5 Part 1

MEN:rotfl2: and a smart girl!

Yay, race day is next! I can't wait! Hurry Up!

Oooooh, the race is next!!! I cannot wait!!!!!!! :woohoo:

Yup... it will be up soon!
MEN:rotfl2: and a smart girl!

Yay, race day is next! I can't wait! Hurry Up!

I know... and there was no telling he was the least bit culpable.

With him working today, I should be spending my day cleaning... but I have been playing on dis all day. I do hope to do a race day update soon.. :goodvibes

Somehow I totally lost my subscription to this.

****Okay...all caught up.

I'm sitting here eating a SmartOne lunch and seeing all the pictures of your food and I am drooling like crazy.

You got some beautiful pictures of my beloved CSR.

Congratulations on your DVC purchase!

One of these days....one of these days, I hope to do that (Mark said when my FIL passes and he gets his share of the inheritance, we will buy).

Love Zoe getting ready for the race...such a pretty girl.

Did I actually see Steve smile in a picture or two?

Race day coming up...can't wait to hear all about it.

I love Nemo but oh, no fun losing a child in that theater or not being able to find the rest of your group. Jeff's directions always seem so totally NOT the way I'd describe something that the type of thing you are describing it relatively common for us.

That peanut butter sounds delicious! I have never seen it in the store before...

Race day!

Ann, I am all caught up here! :thumbsup2

Looks like a great performance of Nemo, but boy, how scary to loose precious Zoe in there. :scared1:

Can't wait to read about the race! :thumbsup2

****Okay...all caught up.

I am glad you figure out that you had lost your subscription and found your way back here AND are caught up! :goodvibes Wouldn't be the same without you.

I'm sitting here eating a SmartOne lunch and seeing all the pictures of your food and I am drooling like crazy.

I know I am usually the one doing that over everyone else's food pics. Sometimes... a smartone just doesn't cut it. ;)

You got some beautiful pictures of my beloved CSR.

It really was an amazing place. I had some room issues... but the grounds were simply gorgeous!

Congratulations on your DVC purchase!

Thank you :goodvibes but... it hasn't gone through yet. We definitely can't afford to go direct and in buying resale... it is a bit tricky. I hope to get through ROFR... but Disney has been taking quite a few contracts... so we will see. If Disney passes... we probably won't close until June sometime.

One of these days....one of these days, I hope to do that (Mark said when my FIL passes and he gets his share of the inheritance, we will buy).

When I looked at how much an average room cost was... the number of nights we would like to stay over the next couple years..factored in the cost of dues... AND saw on the resale list that it wasn't much more than just how much we would spend over the next couple years... it made sense for us to do now. But.. it might not work out...and our time and energy will have been wasted. The cost of going disney direct is just a bit too much for us... so if that was the way we wanted to go, we would be waiting for an inheritance too. ;)

Love Zoe getting ready for the race...such a pretty girl.

Awe, thank you.

Did I actually see Steve smile in a picture or two?

::yes:: this was one of his favorite trips. He LOVED CSR.. but did miss having a balcony. I think he is finally giving in to the idea of loving disney. If only he had wanted the job with Disney... that would have been perfect (in theory) I just wish the process with them wasn't so horrid because it did sour him a bit... but not enough to say no to the DVC option.:cool1:

Race day coming up...can't wait to hear all about it.

I can't wait to write it! Even though I was solo in it... it was one of the best days EVER!

I love Nemo but oh, no fun losing a child in that theater or not being able to find the rest of your group. Jeff's directions always seem so totally NOT the way I'd describe something that the type of thing you are describing it relatively common for us.

I think I should have been more freaked out than I was... but I tend to have a fairly positive attitude and perhaps am a bit naive. Course... then again... maybe I didn't freak cause I went through losing Alex on a daily basis.... :rotfl:

That peanut butter sounds delicious! I have never seen it in the store before...

It is in just about every grocery store...right with the peanut butter. It isn't the cheapest and comes in a rather small jar. I don't like the banana one... tastes like circus peanuts to me. The cinnamon raisin granola is my favorite.

Race day!

I know! :cool1::cool1:

Ann, I am all caught up here! :thumbsup2
:cool1:

Like I mentioned to Cynthia... it bothered me...but I wasn't too freaked out by it. I probably should have been.

Can't wait to read about the race! :thumbsup2

Its next!

Surprised I somehow missed your last update.

Food baby? :lmao: Yeah - I've had quite a few of them myself. :rotfl2:

I love Finding Nemo. I really look forward to seeing it this summer. It looks like you got great seats, once you found Zoe. Yikes!

I also absolutely love Boma. Such a wonderful meal. Zoe's birthday dessert looks really cool. I love that!

Thank goodness you were all able to find each other pretty quickly at Nemo!!

Zoe's birthday dessert at Boma is too cute! :goodvibes

Surprised I somehow missed your last update.

I am guilty of that myself... I think I notice something come through and then think... "oh, I will read that next" Then I forget and another update is posted to what ever thread I was thinking I was going to read.

::yes:: I really looked to be in my second trimester. ;)

We did get good seats.... well, Steve got good seats. I am very happy Zoe and I were reunited as quickly as we were.

It is definitely one of my favorites. And as for Zoe's bday dessert, it was certainly more than your average cupcake.

Thank goodness you were all able to find each other pretty quickly at Nemo!!

Thank you. We did pretty good considering we were all separated... but given we all knew that we were in the same building... we were sure to find each other.

Zoe's birthday dessert at Boma is too cute! :goodvibes

It was! It was so neat for her to have it rather the usual cupcake

Just a quickie to let those who are not reading the joint fall PTR that Steve and I are now both signed up for the WDW half! :cool1: I had wanted to do the phm again...especially since there is the glass slipper challenge. However, this will be Steve's first half and so I let him pick. Of course he picked the Donald. ::yes::

So that means a trip in January instead of February. It will be good for a number of reasons. However, I am a tad sad to miss the phm... AND I know I will not be there when some of you make your treks to the world in February.:(

Ah, what a shame that you won't be at WDW in February. I was looking forward to another fireworks cruise. ;) And Steve would have been a cute princess too! :rotfl2:

But I am still excited that you will at least be at the world before us and I hope there will be a TR as well. :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 And it's lower points and crowds so really better from that perspective...maybe?

Fun though to do it together. We will probably just pass you in the air...we leave on the 7th.

Oh, I will do a PTR and a TR... how else would I spend my free time in the coming months?

I will miss seeing you though... I really am sad about not going in February... if only airfare wasn't a huge cost... and the travel time a pain. I would seriously consider just going for the weekend in order to see you and do the phm. Course then I would have to wonder if my old body would be able to handle both the Donald and the Princess in back to back months.

:thumbsup2 And it's lower points and crowds so really better from that perspective...maybe?

The lower points is definitely a good thing. Between the points being a bit less and not having to come back to March frozen food month in the grocery stores (a huge promotion period that requires a lot of time) we can stay longer... so that is definitely a win. They came out with the glass slipper challenge though... and I really was thinking I wanted to do that. Oh well... maybe next year.

And... it will be fun to do this with Steve. He is struggling to get his runs in now. He is not an early riser... and to get to work by 8am means a very early morning run. I just hope he can get into the swing of it so I don't end up making him hate me like I have made others hate me. ;)

And you will be leaving on the 7th, eh? Yeah.. I think we will head down there on the 8th at the earliest. Course... it isn't like we need to be in WDW to have a dismeet...:rotfl: Heck if I were to have been working the other day I would have driven right past where you were having your meal! I know you are a lot further north of me... but if I ever break down and head to the brooks outlet, I will be sure to let you know. :goodvibes

Are you doing all your runs in the morning? I could not do that, I am the WORST morning workout person. Plus I have to be up at 5:45 everyday to get kids up and out and then to work. I can't imagine working out before that! I workout evenings 3x a week and then Sat am...but that's not until 10am so at least I've had coffee :lmao: The glass slipper challenge is cool...it is in the same calendar year? You could always do a the regular DL 1/2 marathon in August of next year, I think there is a coast to coast for that one too isn't there?

Yah, right now that is the plan. 12/29-1/7. The E's will miss school the 6th and 7th, as Evan will be in HS I'm reluctant to have them miss more than that. But it will depend on flights, our dates could change a bit on either end if needed if they have to though realistically making room changes at all will be tough, esp on the front end, if not downright impossible.

Typically as far south as I get is Tukwila about once a month. That might be about half way between us right? I was wondering though if Zoe ever has regular checkups at Childrens as that isn't far at all. You should head to the Brooks outlet :cool1: it's 10 minutes from my house.

Yup... first thing. It gives me the ability to not shower... then run... then get cleaned up. I have TERRIBLE skin and more than one shower in a day would make me shrivel up like a raisin. Plus... I just eat my prerun meal (usually toast and my peanut butter...but if it is cold some oatmeal) I sometimes wish I could have the coffee first... but I am afraid of what a. the extra liquid would do to my bladder. :rolleyes1 and b. what the caffeine would do to my performance.

The gsc is for doing the 10k and the half during the PHM weekend. It is probably good we are not going to be there for the phm... cause doing that might be too much for me... but I would be compelled to try.

As for the coast to coast...I would love try to do one sometime. That means either a labor day weekend or January in DL. I could see doing the tink in January, but the heat at the end of August or beginning of September might kill me. So on the flip side it would mean doing a fall half in WDW. Not a bad idea... there is the Wine and Dine. I SOOOO was hoping Steve would pick that one!!!! There is an after party in the middle of the night with food and wine kiosks open! Plus you get a gc to use at the kiosks. (not much...but enough for a sampling or two) Yes... I MUST do that one some time! Plus it is a night time run. So no getting up at 3am to catch a bus.

Frozen food month does NOT sound fun.

No it isn't. Neither is June Dairy.(which is coming up) I really need to get a different job.... :rolleyes1

NYE will be so cool! But I imagine it will be hard if not impossible to change plans...maybe not for the end, but for the beginning. Off hand do you know when they take the Christmas decorations down?

Zoe does have appointments at Childrens. She should have more... but I have been so busy. Now add in Steve's job and insurance change. :faint: For the first time EVER we have a deductible to meet. (I know..waaa) but this month deductible is $300 pp (so not a problem) Only the plan changes next month and the deductible is going to $1k. :faint: Good grief! Oh well... I guess we just will have to make due. Out of pocket max is going up considerable as well. I am soo very glad I stocked up on her durable supplies since we will be paying oop (they were costing us nothing) :rotfl: Good news is she will hit her deductible in the first month.

So yes... getting up there works. Tukwilla isn't far.... AND I will be going to see what is at the brooks outlet. It will just probably not be until after June Dairy is over. :rotfl2:
