I saw yavn in the esplanade, and he had a new pin on....turn to bat magic, so someone asked him to test it for us....and he did! (the bat flies quite a bit away..followed by smoke! you can see the bat to the lower right of the tree) SO VERY COOL!!! here is the screen shot......

BUT THE BIG NEWS IS....HAGEN MET YAVN! oh my! you can see them both in the shot (of course yavn is a bat ).....THEY DO EXIST!

This is going to be big with the goth peeps. In fact, every year at Disneyland they have a "Release the Bats Day" and Goth afficionados from all over the US and elsewhere come out for it. I was there last time. It was in late August. The couple I was talking to about it were from San Francisco. Apparently it is a big event every year. Quite interesting to see, I might add.

I once saw a great picture of a little girl as "Dead Tinkerbell", for a goth day at DLR... She had a perfect dead-pan expression too. I'm sure I could find the pic.

Oh, Be, that is great! I must have missed that family. There was another family with the kids all gothed up. I would've remembered the dead tinkerbell though.

The thing that got me is that they pick one of the hottest days of the year and wear all black, wigs, thigh-hi boots and just the hottest clothes imagineable. I wouldn't be able to smile either.
