Oh my ~ got the Contemporary for $174!

Well - the one hotel I thought I would never stay in....the CR...had the best deal for me. I got a rate of $174 per night as opposed to $286 at the Poly....so my total for three nights in March came to $582.00, not too bad I thought.

Now off to research the CR!! At least my fav restaurant is there....the California Grill!

It is the FL Resident/AP rate (they are the same, although on the WDW website under FL resident it lists no deluxes).
We are going 3/16-3/19.

We will be at The Contemporary on June 5th. It will be our 5th time staying there. We were able to book a room for $144.00 per night in the wing. I am so excited.

Oh man I hope we can do as well. We're going in September, and the (rack?) rate we were quoted was $345 for a tower room.

We have a garden view room booked for the same time for $199 on an AP rate, but I may change to standard view if I can save $96. Isn't standard view a view of the parking lot and castle? Can I still get the North Wing?

We had a garden view booked. There were no standard view rooms with the discount available for our time. The garden view was $166.00 per night. My husband called back and got the standard view for $144.00 per night. That saved us $140.00 dollars, then my husband added an extra night with the money that we saved. I just don't think is worth the extra money to pay for a garden view. I think most of the time on standard view you can see the monarail. We have stayed in the south wing four times. We have always booked a standard view and always gotten a garden or water view. If we don't this time it is ok. We never expected an upgrade. The rate we got is a postcard rate.
