I was thinking about our next trip home and went to locate our 6 day Park Hoppers that we bought last March. We only used 3 days. I searched the house for 3 hours - in a panic. I'm thinking $500 down the drain (4 tickets). Not again! I misplaced 1 Hopper pass with 1 remaining day on it a couple years ago. I found our US passes and the Hopper passes were not with them. Finally found them in my fanny pack. Whew.

Does anyone know if you can record any info from the cards that could prove you had them and that there were days left? And if you presented the info to Disney would they give you new passes?

I'm thinking I need a backup in case I ever do lose them before using them.

From what I understand you should take a photocopy of the back of the passes and Disney can reissue the passes based on the numbers on the back if you were to lose them. Get them copied fast!!!! :teeth:

We are at WDW so often we always get Annual Passes. I've been told by a Cast Member that if we lose them we just have to go to any Guest Services window prove who we are and they'll give us new ones. Is this really true? Anyone ever tested it?

I don't know about Disney but we have annual passes to 4 different theme park chains (Busch Gardens, Paramount, Six Flags, and Cedar Fair). All of those can replace a lost pass beacuse as a passholder they have your exact name and date of purchase. Most will charge a small fee for replacement.

I am sure Disney can do the same thing (they even have your finger scan)

dsmith, yes it's that easy! I've done this twice in the last year. All you have to do is go to any Guest Relations window with a picture ID and they will reissue you a new pass with the same expiration date.

Has anyone tried to get reissued Hopper passes? These are not recorded with your name so it wouldn't be as easy as APs.

yes...regarding hopper passes...DH left his at one of the fast pass locations but it was gone when he returned to retrieve it. a disney worker told us to go to town hall at the entrance to main street as if someone turned it in it would be there. well...we checked but no such luck. we were then told to go to guest services at our resort (POR) and they could cancel the missing hopper ticket. guest services was very helpful and actually had to reissue all three of our passes (cancelling the originals) for our length of stay.
