The poor guy. He's been in hospital a long time. I hope he gets well enough to get out soon, but they did state he has health problems. Unbelievable story.
What an incredible story...The family must be so grateful to have him alive and what a good attitude for them to have, Hope he recovers and remember his family!!!
That is really odd. Nice news, but strange. I mean, if someone close to you was missing THAT long in the attacks, would you not have applied for the death certificate by now or searched all the information availableon unidentified people? And would hospitals not have made public appeals if someone's identity was still not know that long after 9/11? I guess it goes to show there is always hope, I'm just still trying to grasp 1)the idea of someone being missing from my family that long and not getting 'closure" which I guess is still an issue for many 9/11 victims' families but also - 2) The administrators of a NY hospital having a "John Doe" for that long after the attacks without it being cross--referenced with a missing person list. Maybe I'm beign unrealistic. Like I said, I think it is happy news, it just boggles my mind a bit.
