Oh My Gosh, I Got Las Vegas As A Present!!!!

Las Vegas is my most FAVORITE place on the face of this earth! I'm not a gambler, I just LOVE the lights, sounds, and the atmosphere of Las Vegas. I want to eventually move there.

My boyfriend loves Vegas about as much as I do. I've been there more times than he has though...hehehe And we've never made it there together, although we talk about it quite a bit.

Anyways, after all of our Christmas gifts were opened this morning at his parent's house, he handed me a green envelope with my name on it, telling me to read the card first. I had at first assumed there were some sort of gift cards inside of the envelope, as it felt a little like that. The Christmas card inside had Santa playing at a Las Vegas table and said something about "The reindeer knew they were in trouble when Santa stopped at Vegas." Inside, he had written that he loved me, and hoped I enjoyed the gift.

I pulled out the cards, which were neatly wrapped in brown paper that said Merry Christmas on them. The first card was really cool and said LAS VEGAS on it. I honestly didn't know what to think, other than "Ok.....uhh...it says Las Vegas. What is this?!" The NEXT card had a picture of an airplane flying and it said American Airlines with a departure date of 1/09/04. I literally gasped. As I went through the other cards, I started to cry. He booked us for a three night stay in Las Vegas, along with breakfast at the Paris hotel, rented a car (something I've NEVER done while in Vegas), and TICKETS TO SEE THE BLUE MAN GROUP!! I have ALWAYS wanted to see them, and missed them when they were in Tampa about a month ago. I have never been so surprised before in my life. AND WE'RE LEAVING IN 2 WEEKS!!! I was so happy, I couldn't stop crying and made him teary eyed as well.

So, now I only have 14 days to wait until we leave...while he made this trip almost 2 months ago! I can't believe he was able to keep the secret this long! Apparently his mom was in on it, and she snapped pictures of me while his dad video taped me bawling like a baby

I'M GOING TO VEGAS! VEGAS, BABY, YEAH!

Never been to Vegas but sounds like a blast. I have been to Blue Man Group - you will love them!

"Good for you"!! We also love Vegas and are going back in July(Flamingo). We are not gamblers either but consider Vegas the "WDW" for adults.
