I just had a wonderful Cricut day today! I started my day by going to a Joann's store that is about 45 minutes from my house, because they have always let me use 40% off coupons on Cricut cartridges (I've bought two this way). Well, I drove all the way up there and grabbed Opposites Attract because I thought it would be pretty in the scrapbook that I am going to make about my daughter's wedding, and the salesgirl tells me that I can't use the coupon. I was so disappointed!!! I bought it anyway, and used the coupon on the Brights Stack and then she gave me an additional 10% off my entire purchase...okay, so that part wasn't that great, but then.........
My husband calls me to tell me that the WalMart in the next town is getting ready to close because they are opening another newer store, and they are discounting anything that they don't feel like moving to the new store. So he asks me if I want to go with him. I really wasn't in the mood, but decided to go anyway. Well, I get to the scrapbook section and it is pretty much wiped out, but low and behold there are Cricut cartridges...and they are all reduced to $30 each!!!! The first one I spotted was the Disney characters cartridge, so I grabbed it. Then I noticed the Mickey font one and grabbed it. Then I saw two or three other cartridges, but they were for the Expressions machine. At the very bottom was the Jasmine cartridge. I wasn't going to buy it because a good friend of mine owns it and we swap cartridges, but my husband told me to go ahead and grab it too! So I bought three cartridges for a total of $90 at WalMart today...plus Opposites Attract at Joann's! I am so excited and can't wait to try them out
