Congrats! When I first ventured onto the CB (about a year after I joined), I vividly remember a bunch of threads "Did Sonya have Thor yet?" It made me wonder if we had a scandanavian DISer!

Congrats from another mom of twins!!! They are girls,fraternal and will be 8 on monday .When our girls were born my aunt gave us an embrodiered "plaque" that says:
Twins
There's two to wash,there's two to dry
There's two to argue,there's two to cry
One's in the mud,having a ball
The other has a crayon-just look at the wall!
Some days seem endless,patience grows thin
Why was I chosen to be a mother of twins?
The answer is clear at the end of the day
As i tuck them in bed,to myself I say
There's two to kiss,there's two to hug
And best of all,there's two to love!

Congratulations! How fun, I'm a twin and spent today with my twin sister

congratulations!!!!! my twins are now 2.5 years old, but I remember like it was yesterday when we found out we were having twins. we were 15w6d...it was our u/s. hearbeat dopplers never picked up 2 because their heartbeats ran the same for a while, I guess. just surprise!!!

I'm sure it is overwhelming, but I wanted to wish you a happy and healthy twin pregancy. if you get a chance, check out www.twinstuff.com it is a wonderful resourse, one that really helped me a lot.

Our cousin and his wife are having twins in March (their dd will turn 3 that same month) and our neighbors are having twins in March also (their firsts!) I'm only drinking bottled water!

Congratulations times two!

I remember hearing the words "you've got two in there" just as I glanced up to see DH with (happy ) tears streaming down his face looking at the two heartbeats on the monitor. My knees began to knock uncontrollably, and the whole ride home I just kept saying over and over, "I can't believe we're having twins", LOL. They are B/G and will be 9yo in October.

Here they were at 5 weeks old with my other set of twins.
