Your to-do list is getting more and more manageable! I had to laugh about the library -- invariably, I will go to pick up stuff that is on hold, and then have to turn around and go pick up more stuff! Never fails. LOL!

Those librarians know us way too well! I do feel like the list is getting better each day.....good feeling!

Glad things are returning to normal around your house. I would not worry about cooking tonight, either, unless it is something super easy -- like Tom grilling hamburgers or chicken.

Well, I think Sunday night I hit rock bottom, but as the days keep whittling away, I know the end is near, and I have SO much to look forward to!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYA!!!!

Now, normally I would start my usual "This time next week...." posts today, but since "This time next week" is our departure day....not much to share with you. Unless you would like to see pictures of inside our Family Truckster?!?!?! The plan for next Wednesday is for Tom to go into work in the morning to run his meeting. While he is there, Megan and I are to take our beloved Max (our bichon puppy) to my Mom's, get the car ready (gas it up and wash it), and then bring it home to pack it up. Once Tom arrives home and changes, we will load up and head SOUTH!!! Our road trip will start out like all our others....with the annual playing of "Holiday Road" from the Lampoon's Vacation movie as we hop onto I-75 South!!! We are going to drive as far and as long as we can handle.....getting through Kentucky, Tennessee, and hopefully pretty far through Georgia! Yes, I will be thinking of all my lovely DISers that I will be bypassing as we head South!!! We will stop somewhere once we get too tired to get a little sleep. That will be our Wednesday!!!! IN ONE WEEK!!!!

I Our road trip will start out like all our others....with the annual playing of "Holiday Road" from the Lampoon's Vacation movie as we hop onto I-75 South!!!

That is awesome!! I'm gonna have to get that song before my DCousin and I head to Indiana on Monday!

I think it is by Lesley Buckingham (same guy from Fleetwood Mac) but don't quote me on that! No matter what time we leave--3am or 3pm--that is ALWAYS the song Tom blasts as we pull out of the driveway!!!! THAT's how you know you are on VACATION!!!!! We also have a song that he always plays when we drive through the Walt Disney World Resort, but I can't remember the official title....something Disney related with Walt's famous quote from the opening of Disneyland in it. I will look that one up for you!

Earlier today folks, I attempted to post my first "This Time Next Week" post, but alas, Photobucket zapped the life out of my computer and it needed a rest.....so I will now attempt to go and do it all over again!!! Wish me luck!

After catching some zzzzz's, we will arise early, dress, grab a free continental breakfast from the hotel we stopped at, and head due south to THE MOUSE'S HOUSE!!! We will probably leave early, and hopefully only have about 4-5 hours left until we hit Orlando!

Once we see this sign.....

we will KNOW we are CLOSE!!! The excitement will begin to build, and we will immediately start looking for the "Big Ball" (aka Spaceship Earth) to our left. Shortly after that, we will finally see one of our favorite sights in all the world....

which will be immediately followed by one of our other favorite sights....

Tom will play our Disney music, and Megan and I will joyfully sing along at the tops of our lungs! It won't be long until we reach our final destination...

We will follow all necessary signs until we reach our ultimate destination and unload at the Jambo House. When we walk through those glorious doors, we will be welcomed with this amazing sight....

Megan will surely make herself at home in the lobby....

while I go take care of checking in!!! (You know, this reminds me, do they have a kiddie cartoon viewing area in there? Megan LOVES watching those old toonies while we are checking in. It has become a big part of our tradition)

Hopefully, our room will be ready for us to check-in and unload, but if not, we will leave the bags with them, and head right out to
MAGIC KINGDOM!!!!!

Our first stop is a long-time family tradition....

It's A Small World!!!

We will have to say "hi" to some of our favorite guys....

My pilot will also have to take me for a ride...

and then we will have to go ride one of our favorites that will be leaving us soon...

I am sure we will have MUCH fun Fastpassing our way around the world, but eventually, we will need a break and will head to our 5pm ressie at KONA CAFE!!!

I may need to sample a little more of these delicious eats...

We will head back to the park for some more rides and merriment, but eventually, we will have to call it a night!

I know....some of them bring back such sentimental emotions when I look at them! She still does so many of them, but as she keeps getting older, some of them are disappearing as she matures. That has to be one of the hardest things as a parent, don't you think??? I just want to bottle her up and keep her sweet and innocent forever!!!

Yes, I know it is late....MAJOR computer snafu prevented me from posting this yesterday.....so today, you will get two!!!

So after our first GLORIOUS night of sleep on WDW property, we will rise BRIGHT and EARLY, because we have a special date at a certain place with some VERY fine ladies......

Our 8am ressie at Cinderella's CASTLE!!!!!

We will take some empty park, early morning pictures on our way back....hopefully that will take better than this one!

(Sidenote: Megan is planning on wearing her Snow White dress for this meal--with some modifications for comfort, but we will just see how far we get with it this year. I have back up plans in case we have to rush into the nearest bathroom to remove said dress! FINGERS CROSSED for her...she wants Snow to see her in it SOOOOOOOOO badly!)

(Sidenote: Has anyone ever seen a Sleeping Beauty really look like herself...if you know what I mean??!?! This one is okay, but just doesn't look that much like her!)

Hopefully, we will get another view like this one again...

After breakfast, we will spend the entire day at Magic Kingdom enjoying some of our favorite rides once more!!!

At some point, we will end up at one of my favorite places to eat.....Grand Floridian Cafe for dinner!!!

The Magic Kingdom is open until 3am, and we are going to try to stay as late as possible.....we shall see how long the little princess holds out!!!

Oh I am SO in love with your first and second day plans so far! I was listening to Reflections of Earth while I was reading your posts this morning

First of all, I had the BIGGEST grin when I saw Megs face after you posted the Disney sign. I can't tell you another picture where I have seen just pure JOY that you've arrived at Mickey's House! Certainly made my day! Next, I love how you posted pics of Megs on the rides you are getting on, just made it that much better anticipation! Do you and Meg plan your rides together before you post? I can just imagine you sitting down with your to do ride list and Megs helping you pick them out

We have eaten at Kona before and absolutely loved it! And GFC, for lunch, is that popcorn on your fish??
