Do you ever just have those days where you really WISH, or NEED to be at DL, because you know it will be just about the only thing to truly cheer you up. I'm having one of those days, and I knew only my friends on the DIS boards would understand. Alas, I live in Oregon, so no DL for me today...SAD. :sad1:Now if I only had a private jet, and pilot, and all the money in the world, I might be able to make it happen. Wishes come true right??? :)

I know how you feel, and I'm sorry that you're feeling that way. Hopefully, you'll be able to go soon :wizard:

Yep. Just a few hours ago, I was putting Christmas presents away while DH was watching TV in the other room. I heard something that reminded me of the Indiana Jones ride. Suddenly, I wanted to ride it! I told DS11 that I really wished I was riding Indy and he said, "Me too! Let's go!" Sadly, no trip in the works right now.

I totally know what you mean! When I get like that I start listening to all my Disneyland soundtracks, closing my eyes and pretending I am there, and trying to convince my DH to take me. It helps a little but nothing is like being there.
I know this fact so much that this year for my birthday we are going just for one day. My birthday always seems to suck or have something bad happen around it and Disneyland was the only place I knew where I could have a great 25th birthday.
The soundtracks really do help with the withdrawal. Hope you fin remedy soon.

Ahhh, Indi is my FAV ride!!! I'd love to be on that right now!!!

I hope you have a fantastic birthday this year, I have to admit, I've done the one day trip before too!!! Its pretty fun! Except we just did ours about a month ago, and our flight there got cancelled and then the lady at the desk was like well its okay if you fly out tomorrow right, and then looked at our reservation, and was like, oh I guess not since thats when you're coming home. We made it work. Ahhhh Disneyland... I agree with the soundtracks too, I put in my 50th Dreams Come True Fireworks (with Julie Andrews one) song (lasts like 19 mins or something) and that usually does the trick for me too...

Thanks everyone, I do love knowing that others "get" my Disneyland fix. Most people just do not get it, I tell them its like my version of going to the spa... How I love the DISers!!!

I'm in Oregon now too, so I completely understand! I did find an incredible deal on airfare from Medford (29 each way) but I have to wait until September to go!

Yes It's my birthday, and the first phone call this morning was the bank asking me if I "spent $115 on Pizza in GREECE!" Now I'm short and I have year end bills. Sucks

I live in SE Washington and have to agree. Not sure about the crowds though.

Feel that way some days as well...... more than some days most of the time
I live in Australia and it is not like Disneyland is just down the road sometimes I wish it was, it is a 13 hour flight just to get to LAX.
But I am happy only 29 more days to go and that airplane ride becomes real.

Okay you've for sure got me beat on the distance! LOL! But exciting that you'll be there soon!!! Wonder if they'll have Captian EO open by then, if so you must let us know how crazy the lines are...

Looks like you are hitting up all the DL/WDW resorts worldwide...that is awesome, my goal too... Now lets talk about getting one in Australia, that would be amazing!

:grouphug:We were supposed to go to Disneyland Dec 23rd, but work fell through for dh, so not only we couldn't go to DL, we didn't even go see family in CA for Christmas! WWWWAAAAHHH. I am still pouting about that! I am praying work picks up soon.
I come to the Dis boards and look over all the pics and read the trip reports and all the love and fun just pours from the board! That helps along with every few hours checking for hotel rates to go in April, and Mother's Day...and Father's Day....and maybe some time in October.....and of course, if nothing else, Christmas at Disneyland! :rotfl: A girl's gotta dream big!:rotfl2::lmao:

OH azdisneylover so sorry you didn't get to go! Thats sad!!!! U could get cheap hotels thru priceline. Thats who we always use now when we are just going for a few days. And we usually get a Hilton, Marriott or Hyatt for around $50 a night. So that wil help when you go! I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get to go soon... I'm trying to figure out when I can get there, I need my fix. DL is like my drug of choice...:lmao:I'm ADDICTED!
