I absolutely hate to cook. I do cook, but I despise doing it!!!!!!!::yes:: ::yes::

Most women are shocked when I tell them that I don't like to cook.  Please tell me I'm not alone...:badpc: (Ok, this is the only smilie that I could find to show how much I hate to cook, just replace the monitor with a stove and pots).:teeth: :teeth:

I'm sure there are plenty of women out there who can't or won't cook. That's why God invented take-out, delivery, and men to take the women out to dinner.:teeth:

I have one word for you: CROCKPOT

Throw it in. Let it cook. It has made my life heaven!!!:cloud9:

Yeah, I use the crockpot, but I still hate to cook.

I just don't like all the preparation that it involves.::yes::

Rita, count me in as a woman who hates to cook. I don't mind baking, but when it comes to meals, YUCK!

While my girls were in middle and high school, the rule was, if you cook it, you don't have to clean it. They both loved to cook and I'd rather clean up the mess. It worked great until they moved out (Kimmi's still here, but her schedule between school and work means she's never home to eat.) Now Stephen and I share the cooking task, but I still hate it. I hate the planning, shopping, preparation, you name it. I would love to eat out every night. True, it may not be very good for my waistline, but I'd be a lot happier.

You know, I don't mind cooking so much as having to figure out what to cook day after day, after day!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_4_64.gif' alt='Salad' border=0></a>

Michelle I totally agree with ya!::yes::

I wish my DH and DS would give me ideas and that they both could agree on what they like! Ughhhhhh!

I've been doing this cooking "chore" for nearly 33 years and I'm tired!!!!::yes:: I'm burnt out!:(

I hate to cook so much that when we got back from D World and I had to cook dinner the next day I had to ask everyone "Where is our PS tonight?"

I'm with you...I hate this task too!

My solution is a great new business in our area - which has been a godsend on the prep end of things as well as the planning what to have. Every meal we've had from here has been great!

Thyme Savvy

Tonight..it's a pork roast with a dijon mustard/apple juice sauce that's been in the crock pot all day!

I hate to cook and don't cook. Don't mind an occasional bake or buttermilk pancake breakfast. DH does all the cooking around here! That's right, I am spoiled.

Wow! I checked out that website and I'm impressed. I wish they had one near me. They actually had things that my family would enjoy too. Maybe I'll look at the site occasionally for ideas. I have plenty of time to cook, but hate having to decide what to make. I would use a business like that just to add some variety. It sounds like it could be a good Mom's night out activity - kind of fun.

I hate to cook, hate the prep work, hate the clean up, hate to bake.... hate it all except eating!! DH brings home rotisserie chicken at least once a week and we get two meals from that. We usually go out on Saturday night, and at least one other night is eggs or sandwiches....so I am really only stuck with three other nights. DH is on Atkins, I am on Weight Watchers, DS is very picky and has food allergies. (DD is the only normal one among us!) Food prep in our house is a project!! .................P

I hate cooking, too. Mostly I hate coming up with ideas, I get bored doing the same thing all the time. And I really never learned how to cook right, the timing and all. I think I've gotten better over time, but I still don't like it.

My husband loves to cook, and he's good at it, but he gets home too late to do it every night. But Saturday is his day, I don't have to think about what to make, he does it all, and even cleans up (believe me, cleaning up after myself 6 days is way easier than it would be to clean up after him just one day. He's a sloppy good cook!)

Hate it, but I have to do it. Before kids, we used to eat cereal a few nights a week because neither of us wanted to cook. I'd still do that if it was just me. My dream is to one day make enough money to hire a cook (who will clean up too, of course).

Around here, i do 80% of all the cooking. dw really doesnt like to cook and really doesnt since i was injured and sh e does all te working. since ten i have been trying my best to take kitchen duty away from her. tonight she made tuna salad,, and i had alerady started the eggs etc even then, she decidfed to go ahead and mix it up for me:) anyway,, sandfwiches are ready bbl:)

I don't mind grilling so I love when the warm weather comes. It is so easy. Throw a few potatoes in the oven, a few ears of corn in the pot, and a few pieces of chicken on the grill. Easy peasy.

i LOVE to cook, I just HATE cleaning up. I wish I could have a kitchen like they do on Iron Chef. Just throw it on the floor and someone will get it.::yes::

The best part of any vacation for me, yes even a Disney vacation, is that I don't have to cook. Unfortunately there are not a lot of good restaurants around here ( with apologies to those who disagree )

Maybe it is because I come from the Montreal area, which is famous for its restaurants, but I just have not found any place here that makes me anxious to return.

So, I stay at home and cook...........insert sigh

I like cooking. Its a bit of a challenge now that mh DH is on Atkins.

Yes, I'm not alone!!!!!

When my DH's friends and co-workers find out that I'm Cuban, they get all excited thinking that they will get an authentic Cuban meal from me. ::yes:: Soon after that, they find out that they won't.:teeth: :teeth:
