Got all my days at BW 1br std in May... wooohooo!!!!
I think I was on waitlist for 10 days or so.

Now we don't have to move!!!
Do you know how happy that made me? I'll be 7mo preggo with a 2yo in the room. I SO didn't want to pack up in the middle of the trip.

And now we don't have to...

Now that we have DD I SO don't want to do that anymore. At least not until she can clean up after and pack up for herself...

Wonderful! We're waitlisted for a BW view for our trip in Oct. But I know we will be thrilled either way. It's our first experience staying at BWV! We can teeter home from F & W!

I love to hear when waitlists come through! I don't have good luck with ones that are longer than a night or two. I'm on one now, for a value studio at Jambo in September. I should have gone on it from the beginning, but since so many have seemed to get their waitlists recently, I got on board. We'll see.

We have OKW GV week before Xmas. We have waitlisted a Hosp House GV. I really like HH there.

I hope we're in bldg 62. My favorite. IMHO best room in OKW is 6231. A 2 br. If I'm remembering correctly. You can see all 3 parks fireworks from balcony. We were there NY eve last Xmas and it was spectacular.

I agree....I'm another hunker down for the entire trip kind of person. I love making myself at "home".

Quick question on waitlists:- How long on average before you know ?

We have booked into our home resort (SSR) for a 2wk, 2BR at end of Nov / Dec (just after thanksgiving) - but would ideally like to switch to AKV (debate still going on as to whether preference is Jambo or Kidani).

Never done waitlist before, so looking for some guidance from the DIS-pro's on this.

The wait list has always come through for us except once when I tried for a 2BR at Boardwalk with BW view at Xmas at 7 mos out. I didn't expect to get it but it never hurts to try.

We've had to wait as long as 3 mos for the waitlist to clear. But every other time it has.
