I just got three credit card bills in the mail and they had a grand total of $0.00 balances on them. I thought it would be hard to go to a cash only or debit card budget, but if anyone out there questions whether it will work or not believe me it does, and it feels good. Chuck those credit cards fast and adjust your lifestyel to match your income.

I'm hoping to be where you are in 12-24 months (depends on how much OT and bonuses DH and I get, if it's none then 24 months, if it's a lot then 12 to 18)! I've already locked the CC's away and haven't missed them (but then it's only been 2 weeks!). Fortunatly, most of our debt is due to the wedding, we were never in the habit of just shoping for the sake of shoping and just putting it on the credit cards, we usually pay cash for small stuff. Our main problem was not saving, hence having to put about 1/2 the wedding on the CC's.
