Oh God it seems like it's been forever

So there has been a lot that has happened with me over the time I have been gone. First and foremost I missed all of you so much since I was gone. I am glad to be back. First thing as some of you already know I began practicing 3 songs for a demo CD. That went well and it was a great experience to go into a real recording studio to record those songs. So after that process was over the guy my Mom is dating sent my demo to the company and supposedly several head executives listened to the cd. It got mixed reviews, but they wanted to see me. I went to Nashville a few times to meet with these people and they said they liked what they heard , but it was not what they were looking for at the time. So after that I came home and I was a bit depressed, but a week or so later I got a call to see if I would want to just play guitar in this all girl group that they had. So another trip down to nashville and into the studio where I met 4 other girls that were involved in this project. So I spent what seemed liked endless hours in the studio with this girls who well were not the nicest people to be associated with. So to make a long story short after performing on the guitar until my fingers bleed it only took one day or even less then one day for the executives to make a decision that they were going to use studio musicians for the project and only the singer will be used. I was depressed once again and came back home to sweet Maryland. All I can say through this whole experience is that my mind has changed quite a bit about what I want to do. It is so cut throat and the people are only out for themselves. So I am back and one good things is I convinced the director of Sound Of Music to keep me as Leisl. oh and in the beginning of all of this Chris and I broke up because I was coming to occupied with this project.

It did make me stronger and it gave me ideas on how to make myself and my presentation even better if I decide to pursue this again.

That is so true. That is what hurt me more than all the hours I put in is how they would tell you one thing one day and the next be going in a totally different direction.
