So what's your opinion about it?

As for me I'm a fudgeaholic. I LOVE Fudge. Whenever we go anywhere, and I spot some fudge I've just got to get at least a small piece. I love so many different kinds and flavors of the stuff.
Unfortunately my diet always tries to me make me feel guilty about it, but I just tell it to be quiet and look the other way, and I'll get back to it as soon as I fulfill me fudgelust.

So how do you view this wonderful sugary sensation?

For some strange reason, I choke on fudge. It's too sweet.

I just bought some Mackinac Island fudge up at Mackinaw City last week. We love it! :)

I don't like chocolate fudge but I LOVE Peanut Butter fudge!!!

I don't like it at all. Any flavor doesn't matter. I think its just too rich.

It's Peanut Butter fudge only around here. I do make other varieties at christmas, but the only kind we like is the PB.

Since fudge is so rich, a little piece is more than enough to get the decadent feeling from eating it.

I voted "Other"-I like fudge but I can only eat a bite of it-it's just too rich for me after one bite.

There's this place on the coast, not too far from here, called Perry's Nut House... and they make fudge. Not just your average chocolate, peanut butter fudge, ohhh nooo... they make these COMBINATIONS... :cloud9: My favorite is called "Salted Nut Roll Fudge", and it tastes JUST like a Payday, only softer and oohhhh, so yummeh. :lovestruc

I am extremely, EXTREMELY picky when it comes to fudge; it takes a lot for me to try a piece of fudge from somewhere I've never had it before. And if I find that it's even SLIGHTLY grainy, :crazy2: :sad1:

I only get fudge at one place, in Ocean City, NJ. It's my summertime treat when I hit the Boardwalk there. And I absolutely love their vanilla fudge. Otherwise, I go the rest of the year without it.

I had a bit of peanut butter fudge this week. The "secret" ingredient was VELVEETA CHEESE! Sounds crazy, but it was CRAZY good!

Have you ever made this fudge?

1 bag chocolate chips
1 can fosting (not the whipped kind)

Melt the chips in the microwave, 30 secs. at a time. Melt the frosting for 20 secs. Mix chips & fosting together & pour into a greased pan.

It's super easy to make & can be pretty cheap if you catch some good sales. You can add what you like ( nuts, candy bits, etc). Combinations can be whatever you imagine. Cream cheese frosting & butterscotch chips, chocolate frosting & peanut butter chips, etc.

If you make it with choc. frosting, milk choc. chips, and Emerald Nuts pecan pie glazed pecans, it tastes just like the Ghirardelli pecan pie squares they put out a while back. Yummy!

(I do apologize for your diet, I gave up on mine after I found this recipe!:rotfl:)

OK, that really isn't helping my diet. :thumbsup2

I like fudge as long as it doesn't have that marshmallow fluff stuff in it. That's just nasty.

I LOVE fudge. I have a recipe for WW fudge that is good and only 2 pts a piece.

HOWEVER the BEST fudge is Fudgie Wudgie. I think they are located in Chicago but they are at BJ"S and Costco on the holidays. ONCE, and I am now salivating, they had it for Easter. It was a fudge sampler and they had the fudge made into Easter Eggs and then it was DIPPED in chocolate. OMG!!

They even have Chocolate Cheesecake Fudge.

I love fudge--but it has to be "good" fudge.

I love the fudge from Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island--have my favorite shops to get it at.

We have a candy store in town that makes wonderful fudge--I can't stop there too often!!!

I am partical to chocolate walnut and peanutbutter, and turtle, but some others I do like but those are my favorites.

I'm not much of a chocolate lover, so I don't eat fudge often- maybe once a year. Too rich and chocolatey for me. I do like my mom's marshmallow fluff fudge that she only makes at Christmas, but I can only eat one piece before it gets to be too much for me.

DD and DH could practically live on fudge- they are major chocoholics!!
