OH BOY!!*My 1st PTR for our 1st ever WDW trip JUNE 2011* 6/14: Started my TR.

Just joining in the fun. Love that journal it's awesome! Hope you are feeling better. I'm debating on the passports too, right now leaning towards just buying them.

Oh a song my kids love since riding Splash Mountain 7 times last year you might want to add to your CD... Zippity Do Dah.

My 4 year old loved Soarin last summer, Splash Mountain, Test Track, Soarin and Tower or Terror were his favs and he's normally not that brave. He wouldn't try the water slide at the pool. LOL

Good thing about joining late is I don't have to wait that long for your trip to get here!!! Since mine is still so far away!

I love Zippity Do Dah! I'll add it, thanks!! :thumbsup2

Hi, my vote goes for making the Epcot passports - you can personalise them so they mean something and add whatever you want to them. I understand the amount of ink they will take (need to buy some for our printer!) but think it'll be worthwhile.

Love the ADR invites, tip envelopes which are awesome and the purchases! Yay on getting a double stroller to take with you - that's another thing you no longer need to worry about. Also 8 weeks!! :woohoo:  :cheer2:

As much as I love this new stroller, I am getting worried about it being too big. :sad2: I think it will pass the requirements for the parks but I'm not sure. It's one of the Kidarooz strollers. So we couldn't ever take it on a bus (not really planning to use buses anyway) and no monorails. And I'm not sure if it will go through the park gates or any of that.
I only wanted a stroller for both kids because my DD who is 7, yes, tires very easily and gets overheated easily. We had a scary 911 experience at the Zoo last year! :scared1: So I'm really hoping this stroller will be ok but I'm not sure yet, I'm trying to research and find out how big is too big......

Did you like the WDW ones? Were they worth paying for or would you rather have some homemade ones? :)

The ones from WDW are cute but I definately like the ones over on the creative boards better. The more I think about it the more I think I'm going to go for it and make them myself, if the cost of ink weren't so darn expensive this would be an easy decision:headache:

LOL. Well, I decided to make the passports!!! I got them all printed today since I already had the cardstock paper! I'll post pics whenever I get them finished ;)

Your invitations and tip envelopes came out great! Can't wait to see your passports :)

thanks for the link to the tip envelopes, I'm going to print some out for our trip! :)

So lookie what UPS brought yesterday!!! :cheer2:

I LOVE them!!! I hope that I am able to get into the resort room before the kids and set them up. :) Remember that they were supposed to say "Welcome to Disney World" but due to the copyright stuff with personalizing, you can't say Disney World or WDW, so we changed to to just "Welcome to Disney!" ;)

I found these cute little things yesterday, so I'll add these to the scavenger hunt items I think...:goodvibes

And lastly... THE backpack! This is the backpack we plan to use for the parks. I found it in the outdoor section at WM on clearance a couple of months ago for $9! It's got some nice padded straps on it, and it's a color DH won't mind wearing lol.

I have this backpack to that I love and got super cheap from L.L.Bean when they had a big sale but I know DH won't carry this  But I may use it to pack stuff in anyway and to have as a back-up in case we might need it.

If my daughter could use it for school that would be awesome but the schools here require see-through backpacks made of clear plastic or mesh. Booo!

Loving the new plushes that arrived in the mail - have heard all about the copyright issues on them!

Have not heard about the clear backpack rule before - am guessing it is something that takes place in the schools in the US? Don't think it would be appreciated here in the UK!

Btw am loooking forward to the passports and good luck with finding out how big of a stroller can be taken into the parks :)

It's not all schools in the US, just certain school districts like ours! It's something that started a few years ago after all of the school shootings were happening in the US.

Thanks for the clarification. That makes total sense :thumbsup2

The county schools require clear or mesh bags; the city schools do not. (Around here, that is.) We're in city limits, so DS has a P&F backpack and DD has Hannah Montana. :)

Your plushes came out so cute! I'm sure the kids will love it when they see them in the room :goodvibes

At our high school, we weren't allowed to carry backpacks at all. :sad2:

Love the invites and stroller tag you made. Can't wait to see how your passports came out. I have my kid's passports printed out, but I haven't decided how to bind them yet.

Thats my issue right now, can't figure out how to bind them...!

:lovestruc:love::lovestruc The Mickey and Minnie! What a wonderful keepsake for the kids to remember their very first trip to Disney!!!

I'm neglecting my poor PTR. I just haven't been feeling well the last few days and the kids also being home on Spring Break this week has just been time consuming. ;) I haven't gotten much done for our trip lately, I still need to finish those darn passports! Hopefully I will have a good update soon!

I am happy to report that we are only 48 days away now though!!!!!! :goodvibes:banana::cool1:

Hey no probs! Hope your feeling better as your health is more important and you want to be 100% fit for your trip! ;)

Enjoy having the kids at home and good luck with finishing the passports!

Yay on 48 days!!!!! :dance3:  :cheer2:

Here are the pressed penny boxes for the kids...
I had a $10 off coupon at Office Max the other day that I could use after purchasing the ink for my printer and got these tiny boxes with part of that coupon :) (they are normally just .99 but I was happy to get them for free!)
