OH BOY!!*My 1st PTR for our 1st ever WDW trip JUNE 2011* 6/14: Started my TR.

Our trip is getting closer everyday, yay! 85 days to go!

My package from the Disney Store came yesterday, I was so excited to see it!!! I ordered the kids new luggage from Walmart the other day too so I can't wait for those to be here

My SIL is at Disney with her kids right now on their 1st trip! (How ironic that we both decided to take our 1st trips this year and both kept it a secret from our kids all of this time!?) They come back tomorrow, I will be waiting impatiently to hear all out her trip!!

And on another note... I'm already planning a 2nd trip My husband thinks I'm crazy for planning a 2nd when our 1st isn't even over yet hahaha! But we have to go back ASAP so DSS can go with us!!! I've been researching deals on off site condo's and hotel's so we can get a price we can afford with a room that sleeps 5+!

Those are super cute!! I have wondered about whether or not the servers would realize what it was or just think it was something that had been accidentally left behind...or trash.

My 7 year old DD came home from school today saying "Momma, I want to go to Disney World tomorrow, can we?" Hahaha...I said well no, obviously we can't go tomorrow... it's kind of far away from here... it's a long, expensive trip.. She said "aww. I really want to go there. My friends said that they get to go this year!"
You know how hard it is for me to keep my mouth shut!?!?! She gets all sad and I just want to say WE ARE GOING THIS YEAR! But I can't... I just can't... trying so hard to keep it a secret! My room is full of Disney things just hiding all over right now
I was so excited to get the park maps I ordered from Disney in the mail today too!! They are awesome!! Even more so since they are FREE.

You are doing a GREAT job keeping the secret.
She is going to be more than thrilled when you surprise her! She will have that memory forever. Make sure to have your camera ready so we can see the looks on the kiddos faces when they finally realize where you are going. SO EXCITED for you all! It is so MAGICAL!!!

A little late joining in but wanted to pop over and say HI You sure have planned out a great trip so far ! Your babies are adorable!!! June will be here before you know it. We went in June of 2009 and it was the kiddies first visit. They had a BLAST. It was HOT and HUMID but it didn't slow us down lol. The best thing we purchased was the water fans from the parks. Ohhh, which reminds me I have to go find mine lol. It's going to be in the upper 80's when we leave in 5 days. Even a couple of 90+ days! Yikes !!!

Hello, just read through your thread and have thoroughly enjoyed all your effort to keep the trip a secret from your children. You have also done a wonderful job of planning. My DH, DD and I will be there in June as well. Even though we will be there for a full week we will only be able to get to the parks on 3 of those days because my DD is competing in the AAU Volleyball Nationals at Wide World of Sports.

Keep up the good work. You are in the home stretch now!!!!

Well HI and thanks! I'm hoping it won't be too terribly hot but I do need to make sure to bring some water fans! We have some that we used for my DD's cheerleading practices last season!

77 days left!!

Here are some pics of some of the Disney goodies I have so far (besides what was posted before ). I did a little shopping yesterday Everything for the trip is part of the surprise! They will not see any of this until then!!!

You've already seen the Tangled swimsuit for DD... So here are the Toy Story swim trunks I found for DS yesterday at JC Penney. He's going to love these!!!

Our poncho's! All in blue, purchased from Walmart.

New PJ's for the kids... I found DD's at WM and DS's at JCP.

And some things to use in my scavenger hunt with them, I still want to get a few more things So far I have Disney coloring books, candy, snack bowls, figurines, and sunglasses. Some came from WM and some from the dollar store.

I sat in the bookstore and flipped through the passport book a couple of weeks ago and took some notes (can't buy any more books!! lol)... the main thing I wanted from that book was the expected times for the rides. So I yesterday I finally went through my "must do" list and added up all of the expected times... WOW, I'm really hoping we are able to do enough in our short amount of time but I am getting worried. We will just have to do the best we can without rushing or getting stressed out

As far as waiting goes ... just have a good (flexible) plan and be realistic. And if you arrive early, you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish the first hour of park opening. Last year, we hit MK for AM EMH RD (I need more abbreviations in there ) and we were standing around trying to find something to do while waiting on the rest of the park to open. We even rode things we had no intention of seeing, just to kill time until the rest of the attractions were available. Take advantage of FPs when you can and relax. Have fun and not let it stress you if you miss things. It's always a good excuse to plan your next visit!

Just got my invites done for our ADR's!!!

Let me know what you think... I took the templates I found from some of the Creative DIS girls and put them in my photoshop to personalize them. I think they turned out ok. I want to get some thick card paper to print them out on instead of regular thin printer paper.
