So I asked this question on another post but I think I will ask it here also. If the code is for the dates through March 8 2006, is this when your resort stay would have to end? We are staying on site March 7-12 2006 and was wondering if we would qualify for this code? We also booked a package so has anyone heard rumors if this is only a room only code or a package deal? I know that this is all speculation but I kind of want all the info I can get. Thanks for any help

As long as your check in date is within those dates, I think you should "qualify" for the discount. Rumor has is that it is a package deal, but I wouldn't be surprised if a room-only code is released the same day or the next. Check out mousesavers for more detailed info...

This may have already been asked (heck I may have asked it myself) but I'm so confused by looking for the best deal, I can't remember. If I book now with a AAA discount, can it be changed to the new discount if it is better?

I am also wondering about the AAA booking. We have already booked with AAA our package with tickets and the dining option, our tickets are already with the park hopping option so would it be possibe for us to have our TA re book for us and get us the use of the code? Or does this have to be stirctly done through CRO? I am very confused on this al, think I will call my AAA TA today and find out what she knows.

Rumor has it that there will be a Magic Your Way Package discount for 1/1/06 - 3/8/06.

The booking dates will be 11/3/05 - 2/15/06.

I'm glad someone clarified it for you. I was just abbreviating 2006, as 06. I didn't mean that it started on the 6th of the month. It does start on the first of Jan. 2006. and end on Mar. 8, 2006.

i just got unofficial e-mail from TA stating that she has heard its the free park hopper/MYW passes.

I have a feeling this is it. I called last night just to see if I had a PIN attached to my name. I did. It was for the above, sort of. It was a free upgrade to hoppers and admission for 4 days to the water parks. Not much, if you ask me. Nothing, atleast, to make me give up my AAA discount.

I'm kinda unsure where to go with the option, until I see it for real. For me I will are saving around 380.00 between the 2 rooms at POP for 6 nights and the one at AKL for 5 nights. We were planning on buying the park hopper , but not other options. This rumored discunt would save us moneybut only on the tix. I figure the savings could make us upgrade to no expire for not much more than what we had origionally thought. The downside is, we would loose the AAA rate. Of course then we could just do a package deal and add on the dining plan....Too many options to speculate right now!!

I would also be very disappointed if it's anything to do with the water parks... I sure won't feel like doing a water park on a day that won't get out of the 60s... kind of crazy?

Right now I have a room only ressie, but after the code came out I was going to upgrade to the whole package.. my question is, if a room only code comes out after I get the whole package can I still use the code? I'm kind of confused

That's what I want to know. I have the MYW package and IF this deal happens to be a "room only" discount, what does that mean for me?? I might be "insulted" too boomhauer!!!

Seriously, for those of us with a package, will we be left out in the cold if that's it?? I sure hope not.

Even so, if the deal is only "as written" we'll save $80.00, which is good, but I agree, if we were not already going, it wouldn't make me plan a trip!!!

I hope they have more then just a free hopper ticket... maybe a buy one get one free... haha I know I'm a barrel of laughs. Still, it'll be a bummer if the room only code was better then the MYW package deal.. I plan on getting the MYW deal so I can use my Disney Visa for the no interest 6 months so I wouldn't even try for the room only code.

I feel pretty good about what I already have:
POP (Dec 31 - Jan 8) at CAA discount (20%, except Dec 31 no discount) and planning on buying 7 day MYW base tickets from ticketmania.
Total for 8 nights : $624 8 nights POP + $694 tix (2A, 2C) = $1318. plus food plus spending $. But I still have to get a CAA membership to get this rate (47 Cdn, maybe about 40 US)
I can't see this price being much better with a code. I didn't include air fare since we will have already been in Florida for the two previous weeks (not at Disney) and I have air fare included in that budget.

Anybody want to give me their opinion on whether they think this price is alright?

Hey girls-
I think its definitely going to be a package special and maybe (likely) a room-only, too. That's based on what they've done in the past, but also the fact that Disney would much rather you do the whole package (and dining, too) than a room only. That way they 1) fill a room 2) sell you tickets and 3) get you to eat onsite.
I also think that if both are released the package deal will be better (or at least as good as) the room-only deal. It doesn't make sense for the to offer $80 savings for package deals and then offer $80 off per night on a room only deal.

How many more days do we have to wait...?

Glad I came across this thread. DH and I were just discussing going in the beginning of Jan. We have to pay for dd now that she is 3 so saving money would be great. Glad I only have to wait four days to find out what the final deal is.

I hear ya, I agree with ya!

I did the math and it would appear to only save me a total of $136. If I had to give up my AAA room only discount and pay rack rate on my resort, I'd actually come out behind as that discount is worth apx. $280 to me.

I called the 1-800 CRO number and asked to be transferred to dining. CRO ended up editing my ADRs for me. I also added my magic express info. I then asked about the possible discount(s) coming out Nov 3. She told me to keep checking the disney.com site. I mentioned that the site isn't always up to date by 7 am and thats when I assume any discount(s) may be available.

I told her that I have been watching this board and mousesavers. She sounded very familiar with mousesavers and
she then told me to keep watching mousesavers.com!!!!!!!!

She was very pleasant and I have a feeling she new something but just wasn't able to tell me anything.
I forgot to ask if their was a PIN with my name.

Has anyone else talked to CRO today and if so, what have you been told about possible discounts Nov 3?
