Does anyone know if you can order a flight of the beers at Oga's Cantina without getting the rancor tooth board, and how much that would be?

I'm just curious, I am considering laying out the money when I go in a few months, because the board is quite cool. Just curious if I need to, when I might just want to try the beers.

Thanks!

You're apparently looking at the menu for Oga's at Disneyland. I don't think that's an option at WDW.

If you meant this question for the Oga's at Disneyland, you'll probably have better luck over on the Disneyland section of this board.

Nah, I thought it might be available in Florida too. Bummer. Thanks!

They do have the beer flight and also the yub nub in souvenir cup at wdw, not sure why it's not on the online menu. I can't answer if you can get the beer flight without the souvenir cups though. I do know, they only had the yub nub with souvenir cup for $45 on the menu when I went in November and they let me order just the drink and not purchase the cup.

Thanks! I was looking at the online menu and thinking that I'd like to try all the beers, they all look wonderful! And having a flight tray would be cool in general and Star Wars one would go with my home decor so I'm not worried about that, more budgeting for it lol. I might have to just ask when I get there if I can get a flight. I appreciate the help!

When we were at DLR this summer we tried to order the beer flight. They were out of the tooth board (which we were fine with, we just wanted to try the flight minus the souvenir price) they wouldn't sell it without the board. :confused3

Keep in mind this was in July and Oga's was still very new, so it could've changed since then.

Only thing I can think of is their Point Of Sale system doesn't have an option for the beer flight without souvenir mug (but does for the Yub Nub). Since the souvenir mug/set you take home is not the cups you drink out of inside of the cantina, I just don't see why they wouldn't let you do get it unless the POS doesn't have the option.

Back in September I heard them tell people they couldn't get the Yub Nub without the mug (when it was actually in stock, they didn't have them at all the first time we went). Maybe it was an overall policy change? It doesn't hurt to ask.

In November, I was able to get the Yub Nub without purchasing souvenir mug. So perhaps, initially it was policy to need to buy the mug with the drink, but then changed. I agree, doesn't hurt to ask, as that is what I did when I was there.

The board is very cool, I got one. But after having the beers not sure I would order a flight without wanting the board. The one was literally like drinking flavored water, I gave it to my DS. If I did beer again, I would likely just order by the glass one or two of them.

Here is what I wrote about Oga's within my review at preview ...

.................

Oga's - I know has gotten lots of negativity and I didn't expect to enjoy because I wanted the original one. I really liked it. We were put at the bar and DS got a kick out of that. We bought a couple things to bring home souvenirs for DS2. I liked the Yub Nub and he had the Jabba Juice. DS2 doesn't know I also got the Rancor Beer Flight. He will be shocked to get that thing. Pricey for sure but it's a nice piece. The beers .... IPA (I don't normally like was good), Gamorrean Ale I really liked, Lager I thought was gross and the White Ale tasted like water. DJ Rex was working and as much fun as any DJ and we were lucky he was right behind us. At one point lights dimmed and staff all clapping and yelling then it came back up. People around us friendly but easier to be with others at bar rather than table together.
