Heading to WDW in 11 days and want to have a cocktail at Oga’s Cantina. There will the three of us. We are flexible with standing, sitting at the bar, or sitting at a table, probably Wednesday mid afternoon. Do we need to have a reservation or can we walk in?

You need a reservation or you won’t get in. You only get 45 minutes per reservation.

Oga's is not nearly as hard to get into as it used to be. They do offer a walk up list, so you can just check that once you are in the park and have decided when you would like to go.

Thank you! I hate to be so tethered to a reservation for a cocktail. This would work great for us!

You can probably find an adr day of or you can join the waitlist in the app. You can only order 2 drinks/person and stay 45 minutes. The fuzzy Taunton is basically a fuzzy navel but the foam on it will numb your lips.

It would be one and move on! That sounds like a very interesting(?) drink! :)

Just an fyi. You stand at the bar, too. During Covid, they had stools at the bar, which was wonderful, but those are now gone. Only seating is the table, and you will most likely not get one of those as a walk-up unless you go early. I’ve been to Oga’s dozens of times (not my fav, but I travel with newbies who want to see it), and we’ve been seated twice. Once at a 9:30am reservation when the place was empty (yet they still placed my party of 2 with 8 other people), and once when we had a group of 8, including small children. I asked when checking in, and we had to wait 40 minutes past our reservation.

This /\
You can walk up, you just may have to wait, depending on the size of your party.
And if you like margaritas, the Outer Rim is good. My hubby likes the Jedi Mind Trick, and we both like the beers.

The people I go to Disney with LOVE Oga's so we do a ressie every time. In April, we had our ressie for 1:30 on a Tuesday. However, I, unfortunately, got sick and couldn't do a lot in the parks. We finished what we wanted to do in Studios by 11:30 and didn't want to try to kill 2 hours but also didn't want to cancel. We walked over and asked if we could possibly move our time up. The host said it would be about 20 minutes wait which we were fine with. In reality, our name was called for a spot literally 2 minutes after we spoke with the host. It was really busy inside, but it seems like they have a lot of availability for walk ups.

You can get a reservation or join the walk-up list on the app. There's almost always availability through one of those.

Not sure that walk up is even an issue. We've never had a problem getting a reservation for when we wanted. Personally, we have had much more fun standing at the bar and talking with the bartenders. The standing tables away from the bar were not as much fun. Understand that all the drinks are pre-made and no custom options.
