Basically, you should never give out your SS#.
In addition, if you get a funky email (spam), then you should open a new internet browser to that website.
Don't follow the links provided in the email.
Or, if not sure, call first.
If I have done any of these, I wouldn't be in this fix.
So far no damage, but now have to watch my credit.
