Offsiters where will you be staying on your next trip

This October will be our first trip staying offsite. We are staying at the Dreams Villas.

Doing a split stay - Sheraton Vistana Resort for 8 days, and then onsite for 3 (those last three days are just a short solo stay for me; I love my solo trips)!

This past May/June was our first offsite trip. I never thought I would stay offsite, but when I found a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home in Regal Oaks that cost half the price of Pop Century, I jumped on it.

We are really looking forward to staying there again on our next trip.

Staying at Mystic Dunes. Got a great deal from Skyauction...Has anyone stayed there? Best way ( least traffic) to WDW?

We are going for the week after Thanksgiving. We used to stay at Shearaton Vistana and have also stayed at Cypress Point but the traffic around there is a total nightmare. Three years ago we tried Silver Lake and fell in love with it. The resort itself is smaller than Vistana but the units are bigger. You can back door it into WDW and avoid all the traffic. Great restaurants and grocery stores near by.

Can you tell me how you booked silver lake? We're interested in staying there in December. Thanks!

I've really enjoyed seeing where everyone is staying -- so many great places on the list. It's wild how many of them I've actually tried too, but then I've been hitting Orlando pretty regularly since 1971, the year that the park opened when I was 10 and I love mixing things up, given how many great options there are at what seems like a really reasonable price.

We are staying at Blue Green Fountains on I-drive Dec 5-12, first time there.

We stay offsite most of the time with timeshare exchanges.
We have stayed in a "3 BR" at the Legacy near Downtown Disney which was a nice enough place but definitely not a 3BR. I would still say a good place to stay if you don't need a lot of amenities but would like the space.

We have stayed at Sheraton Vistana Villages, nice resort, beautiful grounds, but the elevator kept breaking down every time we had shopped and were bringing up bags of groceries. :)

We have stayed at Orange Lake Country Club--huge resort, lots of activities, good sized rooms and close to Disney on the toll road. They have a lazy river at one of their complexes. One of the few timeshare resorts that really have 3 BR for larger families.

We also stayed at the Hilton SeaWorld timeshare. Very nice resort very close (across the street at one part of the resort) to SeaWorld. Lovely pools, beautiful grounds and this resort also had a nice 3BR unit.

We have stayed at a few others whose names escape me at the moment but I would be happy to give information to anyone on any of the timeshares we have stayed at (we go to Disney World a lot.) :yay:

I've also enjoyed seeing where everyone is staying. We're a family of 5 and staying for two nights after a cruise this October. I'm looking for somewhere under $150 a night. Probably going with Doubletree in downtown disney because we have stayed there several times before.

We're staying right now at Dreams Villas (http://www.dreamsvillas.com/). You have to stay for 7 days, but it's wonderful. We have 4 bedrooms and full kitchen and 3 full baths. Cost totaled about $130 per night. I'm a huge fan if you're doing a longer stay.

Message me if you have any questions!

We are at Wyndham Cypress Palms in Oct. I have stayed on property 20 times or so, and on our last visit my DH talked me into trying offsite. I fell in love with CP. We get them through resortcerts, and this trip we are paying $205.00 (they had a sale when we bought our certificate) for a 2 bedroom w/full kitchen for a WEEK. Can't beat it :cool1:

For a week of our holiday we will be staying rosen inn closest to universal , this will be our second time staying and think it's fab and cheap and great location. :)

In October 2013 we stayed at Paradise Palms and loved it, beautiful resort and the house was gorgeous. Our next trip is in November 2015 and we wanted to try something different so I put a deposit down on a six bedroom house at Windsor Hills which we are very excited about trying out even though its a long way away!

How did you buy your resort cert? Do you have to be a member or can anyone buy?

This will be our first time staying offsite and I've booked a 3 BR presidential at Wyndham Bonnet Creek! :cool1:

Next week DH and I are staying at the Marriott Grande Vista. We stayed there last year for 2 weeks and really loved it. Our trip next week was really a fluke. We had nothing planned and I happened to be lurking about on Ebay and saw a super cheap auction listing which I thought I would never win....but I did. So off we go for a last minute, adult trip.

Anyone can buy. They are the overstock for RCI. Usually we buy them from skyauction.com, then redeem them at resortcerts.com. But this time resortcerts was having a sale and we bought them directly from them for an amazing price. They are usually $259.00 and a $20.00 service charge through skyauction.

I learned about them here, if you search for resortcerts you will find a ton of info.

Quality Suites LBV unless I can find the perfect bedding arrangement in Windsor Hills....

It's a family celebration with 2 sets of parents, 3 adult males, 2 17 year old daughters, along with teen boy, preteen girl and preschooler. Also can't lock in the dates with a rental home yet (some may not be able to make the trip).

Would love to hear where you are staying on your next offsite trip. Variety is the spice for life and there are so many great offsite options. I'm going down Dec. 13th (before most of the Christmas crowds roll in) and staying at one of the two bedrooms at Cypress Point. My parents traded some timeshare points and Cypress Point which we love didn't require many points at all (two weeks for one -- Orlando and Puerto Vallarta for a trade of their one week in Sedona). Can't wait // first time ever for me to be traveling at a low crowd time. DH is staying home. I'm going down with DS after his college finals and meeting up with my mom and dad. We'll be back home for Christmas week. So where are you staying? Tell us about it.

I don't know how to post other than to quote....... Anyone ever stay at home wood suites lake buena vista area?
