Offsite recommendation for extended family?

Hi all,

I am thinking of taking the kids and my parents to Disney in February. Usually we stay on-site but I'm thinking that with the size of our group, an off-site suite hotel may make sense. Do you have some affordable recommendations for an off-site resort?

The party will include:
Me
My Mom
My Dad
DD6
DD5
DD1

We are also considering two value rooms or a family suite.

Maybe look into renting a house or townhouse near by. There are tons on www.vrbo.com and www.homeaway.com. If I'm not mistaken the family suites only have 1 real bed and the rest are pull out beds. Renting a house would be cheaper than 2 value rooms.

We did this last October and stayed at Windsor Hills in one of the townhouses w/ a splash pool. It was a great resort! My in-laws went with us. 7 of us total with teenage girls.

Rented through vacationcentralflorida.com and truly don't really have any complaints regarding the resort. I would do it again if they went with us.

We're going in Feb too! There will be 7 of us (3 adults, 4 kids) and we priced a value resort around $687 for our week per room. So that'd be a total of about $1347 for 2 rooms.

I priced Windsor hills and most of the 2-3 bedroom condos go for about $750 for the week. Bonnet Creek is about $1250 at the most. So given that the price of a condo (with full kitchen and a larger, nicer room we could get at a value resort) we've decided to stay off site. The savings are significant enough to justify renting a car (which we always do anyway) and paying for parking.

So far we've narrowed it down to Windsor Hills and Wyndham Bonnet creek. I'm having a hard time deciding between the 2 places.

We've rented from these folks and they're wonderful! They have everything from 2-3 bedroom condos to 7 bedroom homes.

Most are a very short distance from WDW most have pool access or individual pools. Very reasonably priced and convenient.
