We're planning a WDW trip for this winter (between early December & early February), and I'd be grateful for opinions on offsite hotel pools. I love the look of the Caribe Royale pool, but I've seen a few reviews that say they don't heat it like Disney does. My kids turn blue pretty quickly, so I'd hate to build a vacation around a pool they won't swim in! Anyone have recommendations, both for layout and temperature? (We were happy with the pool temp at the Poly in January '08, when the weather was 70s/50s, if that helps in making comparisons.)

we stayed at the lake buena vista village and resort

fun pirate ship pool with water slide and zero entry for the little ones. the kids had a great time!

The Caribe does have a heated pool. I believe they keep it at 83 degrees. And you also have the option of using the pool next door at their sister resort Buena Vista Suites.

Not sure how old your kids are, but the Marriott Harbour Lake has a great pool. They actually have 2 pools, one with a big pirate ship with slides and cannons that shoot water. And another WaterWorks area with a big pool and slide.
