What is the closest off site hotel to DL. We have stayed at PPH the last time we went. We really like how it was close. Any suggestions would be great. I slipped up and mentioned to DH how there are off site hotels that are close as well. Now he just sees all the money we could save. I had him talked into GCH.

There are several off site hotels closer to DLR than the PPH is! We really like HoJo *especially, well only really if we can get the ent rate, Anaheim Plaza is cheap and fine, we've stayed at the Desert Inn and that was fine as well.

The closest hotels to the park are:
-Best Western Park Place Inn
-Tropicana Inn
-Park Vue Inn

These are all closer than the walk from the Disneyland Hotel, let alone the Paradise Pier.

The walk from the HoJos is probably around the same as the PPH or a far room at the Disneyland Hotel. There are also many other hotels on Harbor with shorter walks than the PPH.

We always stay at the Hilton Anaheim. They are great!!! Their beds are so wonderful and the down conforters feel wonderful. And the staff is awesome and taken care of us our last 6 visits there. NEVER had a bad stay!! And the prices are great too!

Out of those three which one is the nicest? Also do they have free internet?

I have stayed at BWPPI a few times and enjoyed my stay every time. They do have free wireless as well as free breakfast. The breakfast is served next door and I was more than happy with the selections there. Cereals, juices, bagels, pastries, fruit, and I think they even had biscuits and gravy, but I am not positive on that.

I've only stayed at the BWPPI and the Tropicana. Both were comparable in "niceness" i guess. They're both basic motel style places. The pool is bigger at the Tropicana. The breakfast is slightly better at BWPPI. BWPPI has free internet, Tropicana does not. However, BWPPI tends to be a little more expensive than Tropicana.

We've stayed at the Tropicana for both our trips. Very nice to be so close, expecially with a young child. They had basic breakfast stuff (pastries, coffee, OJ) and you can buy cereal and milk. Hot tub was nice for those aching feet ... :)

Park Vue vs. BWPPI from what I can tell:

Park Vue has free parking, and I believe BWPPI is charging $8/day.
The breakfasts are a little more substantial at Park Vue.
Park Vue tends to be a little bit cheaper.

I haven't stayed at the Park Vue, but I did stay at the Best Western Park Place Inn with my girls last summer. It seemed dirty and depressing to us.

We have also stayed at Howard Johnsons (Hojos) and that was clean with comfortable beds and a good view (Disney facing). It was much better!

The only complaint I have against ParkView is the rooms only have 1 bathroom.

Great map links! :thumbsup2 Thanks!

Due to staying free on rewards points :woohoo:we need to choose between Hampton Inn or Fairfield Inn. (2 adults)
We will also have a rental car in worse case. But most likely will just park it when we arrive.

Any experience or comments from anyone between these two?
