Offsite Hotel with FREE shuttle

I'm searching for hotels around WDW with a FREE shuttle. So far all I've found is hotels that have access to the I-Trolley?

How do Free shuttles work if you want to head back to the hotel in the middle of the day to rest and then head back later to WDW?

hotel shuttles will drop you there in the morning and pick you up in the evening, there are no pick ups or drop offs during the rest of the day. Plus they spend about an hour or more picking guests up at all the other hotels, which is why we don't use the hotel shuttles, we use the Lynx public bus to get to Disney from International Drive.

I have read about your situation on some other threads, I understand you will have your own car since you are driving over from Daytona. I really think you should try to squirrel away the $10/day to drive to the parks from your off site hotel and pay to park. You only have to pay for the parking once during the day and you can leave and come back as long as you save your parking pass. If you are alone with your kids while your DH is working it will save you some frustration.

The Hawthorn suites on Canada drive does a complimentary shuttles bus (or they did when we stayed there last time!) We really enjoyed our stay there and the shuttle to the parks were fine although we didn't try returningduring the day - that may have been a bit too time consuming!
