Hi all,
I am new to this forum. My 2 DDs (14 and 13) and I are going to be at UO from Wed to Sat next week, and we can't wait, esp for WWoHP! My problem is that I booked a hotel through Hotwire (and will *never* do that again) and ended up at the Westin Imagine, a few miles offsite. Our budget is tight. We will have a car (driving from PA), and it is costly to park there ($14/day at the hotel). I was hoping to save the parking fee at Universal by maybe taking a shuttle from a different nearby hotel where I might park my car for free. Do you think I'm asking too much? I would also be happy to self/free park somewhere within 0.5 mile of the park and walk in. If you think I'm being silly don't hesitate to say so, but TIA for any tips!

You might need to show some kind of ID to take a shuttle from another hotel. If you are going to be there next week, it is going to be absolute chaos!!! You are going to want to plan every minute and not just willy nilly get transportation when it arrives. I think you should probably drive and plan to get to the parks by 7 ish am!!!!!

The only thing I can think of, is that you buy an Annual Pass using their monthly payment option to keep up front costs down, and then you can have free self parking at Universal itself....

but that wont save you the $14 a night at your hotel. I would google map it and see what kinda area it's in, and just do off street parking there. My husband and I have done that in San Deigo to save fees...
