If the Welcome Show starts at 8:40, but the ferries at the TC don't start running until 8:30, how can an offsite guest see the Welcome Show? I don't think 10 minutes is enough time to load the ferry and scoot across the lake.

Maybe I'm wrong about the start times for the ferries & express monorails, but I thought they started running 30 mins prior to opening.

I believe the ferry and the express monorail start 30 minutes before the park opens, but the resort monorail starts at 7 am.

OK, so how can i, as an off-site guest, get on the resort monorail? does it stop at the TTC?

Yes. Both Monorail lines stop at the TTC as the Epcot Monorail line can only be accessed at the TTC.

I believe the welcome show starts at 8:50. It's not a 20 minute show and it's concluded with the opening of the park. So the times that I've watched it, I'd say its always began roughly 10 min before park opening.

And it seems like I've boarded the monorail or ferry prior to 8:30 because I've never had to rush to try to make it to the welcome show or wait in line for the transportation to start operating.

You should have no trouble making it to MK for the opening ceremony. And you certainly have longer than 10 min to make it over lol
