Offsite and FP+

Its all part of the roll out it was bound to happen at some point. The interesting thing is that AP and offsite guests will have the same 30 day window while onsite guests have a 60 day window. So AP holders don't have a FP+ perk now. Disney will continue to offer some type of perk through MyMagic+ because if there is no advantage to staying onsite than why would you thats one thing disney has always done.

I'm SOO excited about this…. I want one of those bands so bad… LOL We are staying off site because it was so much cheaper in the long run for our time at disney (with a family of 5). I've been reading and hearing all about the Fastpass+ nightmares for those who needed to use the Kiosks on site and how things were NOT working very well.

That is correct if you have an on site reservations it's 60 days

You also have more advantages for staying on Site as well… not just the Magic Bands….. even if its available to the rest of us.

So if you are a day guest and want the bands, but haven't bought tickets to MK yet how will that work? Can you still buy the bands day of in colors of your choice and just go to the kiosk? TIA

I may be wrong but how i understand it from reading other posts your fast pass selections get loaded into your ticket if u buy your ticket day of and u load your ticket in the kiosk.

I would think if you are buying your tickets at the park they will ask you if you would like to purchase magic bands. I could be wrong not all the details are out yet though. I also don't know what colors will be available for offsite guests. The tickets are on the band once you have both purchased and starting at the end of the month off site guests can use the app to book their FPs on the app rather than going to the kiosks.
