I wanted my brother to marry us..but he isn't qualified (yet) Does anyone know the rules in Florida about this?

Will he be qualified by the time of your wedding? I believe that religious officials are all ok as long as the state of Florida recognizes the religion. Judges have some requirements I think. Codie knows about that one. Otherwise, I also know that Florida notaries can perform weddings. My aunt in Florida is one and has done a wedding. HTH.

Thank you for the reply! He wanted to be qualified just so he could do our wedding so I'll keep you posted on how it works out :)

In Florida a Notary Public can marry you. If they are a Florida resident they can become a Notary in about 6 weeks.
