Hi Kimmy and Sharky!

Yes, flylady is a site that helps you clean and organize your house. I had joined one time before but felt very overwhelmed by the things she was saying to do. It's funny because the first thing she has you do is clean your sink. She said that's what she did when she first started and it's something she has now incorporated into her plan. They send tons of e-mails and give examples of what you should be doing. I know that there is now way I will be able to do exactly what she says but I'm going to try to do as much as I can!

My roommate and I are watching lifetime movies (a favorite pass time) It was a Beautiful day here, still really cold, but sunny and blue skied. It was nice to get out for a little while.

Oh do I love Lifetime movies! We are watching Lilo and Stitch. I went to the movie store yesterday and they are going out of business so I got DD that movie. All of the other Disney movies were gone!

Very strongly trying to fight the urge to sing the "wake up" song from Lazy Town. Can you tell what we are watching right now?

Gonna try and get stuff done that I didn't yesterday, thanks to the Hitchcock movie marathon. They were all pretty good, with the excemption of Pyscho which was great as usual (one of my all time favorite movies). This was the first time I saw the movie The Birds. It was good but the end of it had me going so did The Man Who Knew Too Much. Oh well at least I finally have Psycho on dvd

Good Morning everyone (almost afternoon)
I work for an insurance company. They are open 24x7. I love my Tuesdays off, I can get in easily for any Dr. appts and no one else is around, so I really get stuff done.

Oh okay so you are in insurance. Insurance confuses me, I dont' understand policies. I have a friend who was robbed and she had choses "full replacement value" but now she is having trouble because they said she has to replace the stuff first, turn in her receipts and then get paid. The problem is everything was stolen that's too much money and they can't afford to replace things until after they get the insurance money. Is that normal practice???/

Here's a pic of the NEW car!!

It is amazing, every time we ride in it we find another awesome feature. The head & leg room blows me away. It runs so quiet that it is hard to know that it is turned on. The seat fold down so much that you can create an entire flat surface for a bed would not even be short! The seats all fold up in an amazing way, we could even bring stuff home from IKEA without a truck if we so desire!. Have already decided that when we head south that my clunker will stay in the park'n'fly lot this baby is too special, even if it means she will be alone for about 16 days.--- we are staying in Buffalo one night either side of our holiday to be fresh & relaxed!

This will be the last purple post you will see in the next 3-4 days as my wrist recovers. Not sure how long till i can use the hand. tAKE CARE and enjoy yourselves

That car looks great Donald! Good luck with it. I hope you enjoy it. It sounds like you have some great features in it! I dont blame you, I'd leave that car home alone rather than leave it in the parking lot at the airport for that long!

Take care of that wrist and hope it gets better soon!

Wow tons of emails huh? I would like to learn how to organize and clean properly as I get side tracked, lol, but think I would be overwhelmed by so many emails. Let me know how it goes!!

Sorry I never came back yesterday. Got caught up with more TCM movies yesterday and then talked to DH online all night. I need lots and lots of coffee today.
Again today is catching up with everything I didn't finish this weekend, like folding laundry

I've looked at the flylady website before. That one step where she says to get full dressed w/ shoes was alittle strange to me (don't wear shoes in the house, except for crocs) maybe if I go back and skip that step it might be worth trying.

Got one load of laundry done and also got showered and DD is dressed. That is progress for us! Now I need to make a grocery list and get my butt to the store. I'm trying here!

Tink - I don't agree with the shoes in the house thing either. But I do notice that I seem to be much more productive if I get up and shower and dress immediately. I just skip her shoe step and move on. So far my sink is shining I cleaned out from under the sink yesterday and reorganized and also cleaned out to cupboards in the kitchen...baby steps...baby steps!

MomMom - Yeah, there are a ton of e-mails! I'm trying to keep up but just starting out slow. If I go crazy I will burn out and never keep up.

Hey guys.. just got back from Walmart and the adult school.. im on a waiting list for the class this wednesday so I have to go and is there is no room then I go home and get signed up for the next class.. but i'm number 7 on the waiting list. cool cool...

I got a new bra and 2 pair of underwear (one is all lime green with white stars on it! SUPER CUTE! the other is black with pink and white skull and cross bones on it and the skulls have hearts for eyes and bows on their heads..) and 2 pairs of socks one with Mickey on it and one with Tigger on it.. and the bra is plain white.. boring.. when I get more money im going to go back and get the one with cupcakes on it! and I got Josh some socks (plain black because hes boring..) and some white chocolate macadamia nut cookies! yum...

my friend just texted me and asked me to move to canada with her...

Have not been online for more than about 10 mins today and going thru withdrawal


I worked, then came home, made us all quick sandwiches for dinner, dropped ds off at my BFF house as DH and I were going to have our taxes done

CHING..CHING.....Not as much as last year, but still pretty good

Then, we went back to my BFF house and ordered pizza and cheesesteaks and just hung out the rest of the night while the kids played.

Did anyone want Moment of Truth?

I have to say I do get dressed and put sneakers on to clean as otherwise my feet hurt but I put on old cleaning clothes. I like that for the support on my feet and because I have a tendency to run in and out of the house sweeping or shaking out a throw rug, hanging laundry etc. It works for me but may not be for everyone!

OMG Yes I did watch it and I could not believe it! Those questions were unreal. She said "go all the way, it's not about the money it's about getting a lot off my chest." Come on, if that is all it was she would have come clean to her husband in private not on national TV where she could win a lot of money doing it while humiliating him. I'm glad she got $100,000 that gives him his 50% LOL when he dumps her cheating butt!

She says that is a big key is getting dressed including shoes. I get dresses and put on slippers! I never minded wearing shoes in the house until we had DD and then with her being on the floor it grossed my out.

That's a good idea to sign up an alternate e-mail address. Right now I get about 6-10 messages a day. Some of them are testimonials from people that have used her techniques and are seeing progress. Some are from her reminding of things to do. Let me know if you take the plunge!

Hey Love! Flylady is killing me! She is a busy little lady that keeps harassing me I'm trying but not following everything. I have cleaned out all of my kitchen cabinets and wiped down the kitchen. Baby steps are all that I can do!
