***Officially Official September 2017 Thread***

We are in the same boat. I always do Green, but my husband won't even try it since he likes the spinning. I can handle spinning rides in general, so I don't think I will have a problem, but all the scary signs always freak me out and I switch to Green! Maybe he would ride Green with me since it is new.
I'm going to try that logic with my husband...hey you never know it might work. I'm getting him to go on FEA so there's hope :rotfl2:

Mickey Shaped Snack Scavenger Hunt:

Mickey Ice Cream Bar
Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich
Pretzel
Waffles
Cookie
Cake Pop
Rice Krispy Treet
Bread
Churros

Anyone have anything to add that they have seen in the parks?

I will be making Mickey Shaped:
cupcakes
pancakes
eggs
watermelon
biscuits
brownies
jello

To get us excited for the trip. When we reach the 30 day mark, I will have a small gift for the kids. Pencils, stickers, keychains, word search books....
So we will have a Mickey treat and gift each day for the last 30 days before the trip.

And Tums and Pepto Bismol have been added to the packing list...lol

I bought them, I wish I was that crafty!
The top ones are classic ears from the parks of course.
The floral ones in the second row are from The Mermaid Harp. She has her own website, you can also see them on instagram
The spaceship earth ears are from Uptown ears on Etsy
The three princess ears (Rapunzel, Ariel, & Anna) are from Modern Mouse boutique on Etsy
And finally the Beauty & the Beast ones are from Shop My Mouse on Etsy

There also another shop that I haven't been able to snag ears from and now I'm too short on time to get them but Bibbidibobbidibrooke has the most magical ears and I so wish I had some.

Hope you might find some you like pixiedust:

Loving those spaceship earth ears!! Where did you get them?

I quoted my post above where I explain where I got each pair :)

38 days! Today's goal (gotta love slow days at work!) I will be creating packing lists for the kids. They love having a checkoff list. My 10yo son has already planned out his daily outfits, but a friend dropped off a bunch of clothes for him, so now he is rethinking everything. They each have a bin in their room where they can start putting things they don't need right now, but will need on vacation.
This helps me figure out a shopping list too.
We put each daily outfit in a large ziplock bag and label it. So he just has to reach in and grab the bag for that day.
He writes his own labels and puts them on his own bags. I'm so happy to see him so excited and involved!
My 15yo daughter is chomping at the bit to get at the scavenger hunts...lol.
LOVE the building excitement!!!

That's so awesome! I will be packing my 10yo's stuff for him. I've tried to teach him how to put outfits together, what goes with what. He sorta gets it, but not really. He truly doesn't care if what he's wearing doesn't match. However, I DO! :rotfl:

To be honest...I never said he matched...LOL!:rotfl2:

I really have to look everything over and fix it sometimes. He starts out with the easy stuff red/red - blue /blue...but then he just starts putting a shirt with shorts.
we argued over the red/black shirt with the gray/orange shorts...lol

LOL! Good, mine's not the only one. I've let him pretty much pick out his own clothes this summer, and EW. That will change when school starts!! :rotfl2:

Same here..I think he's been spoiled all Summer. It's going to be a war when school starts!

I'm late coming into this, but I have recently booked a short, solo trip to celebrate my 50th birthday. I am at All Star movies September 9-13 and will doing my very first MNSSHP on the 10th. I can't wait!!!

I am doing MNSSHP solo too but on the 17th

Sooo I need help. I posted a thread about it and got no response so I thought my September crowd might weigh in for me.

both my husband and daughter have motion sickness and they both do the orange side, since you don't see things moving you don't get sick. I think it is when you see the world spinning around in your side vision, you are in the dark and stare straight at the screen. It works for them.
